(Clearwisdon.net) Under the direction of the Fuyang City "610 Office,"* police officers from the Fuyang Police Department arrested and detained Falun Dafa practitioner Fan Wenfang on May 25, 2003. On May 26, she was blindfolded, hooded, and then secretly transferred to the Linquan County Detention Center, where she was imprisoned.

Fan Wenfang began a hunger strike to resist the illegal persecution. The head of the Fuyang City "610 Office" instigated barbarous force-feeding torture sessions to Fan Wenfang. The following people participated: Qi Chenggang, the head of the detention center; Wu Guangjie, the deputy head; Lin Ping; Li Jiaodao; Qin Fayi; Zhou Qingyou; Liu Gang, the deputy head of the Linquan County; and Wang Yumin, the head of the Political Security Section.

During the force-feeding torture sessions the head of the detention center instructed seven or eight males, who were drug addicts, thieves, and robbers, to force her to the ground. A few people held down her arms and legs, and some pulled her hair and face. A huge, rough male prisoner, who was holding a stainless-steel adjustable wrench, used the handle of the wrench to pry open the practitioner's mouth. He exerted all his strength to force the tool into her mouth until it reached her throat. She suffered extreme pain and struggled for her life. Much of her hair was ripped out, and her nose and ears were bleeding. She lost eight teeth, and the rest of her teeth were loosened. She can no longer chew anything. Her mouth was a gory mess, and blood was dripping from it. It was a horrendous sight. At times, due to the severe torture, she lost control of her bowels and fainted.

Many times the police savagely force-fed her with a pepper solution mixed with some unknown drugs and milk powder. One time they stripped off her clothes when they force-fed her. The guards were tormenting and humiliating her. As a result of the extreme torture Fan Wenfang's healthy body was reduced to skin and bones. She is extremely weak, can no longer care for herself, and may lose her life at any moment.

Even though she was in a fragile state, under the direction of the Fuyang City "610 Office," the Prosecutor of the Ying Region of Fuyang City and the local court further persecuted her. On December 3, 2003, they carried Fan Wenfang to the Fuyang City court on a stretcher, and she was put on trial.

On July 20, 1999, the Jiang regime began a brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners throughout China. Falun Dafa practitioner Fan Wenfang has been abducted to detention centers on seven occasions, held at the brainwashing centers twice and jailed in forced labor camps three times.

We appeal to all compassionate people to come forward and pay close attention to the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners-- in view of Fan Wenfang's situation, please raise your voices, condemn the evil persecution and protect the kindhearted people.
