Ms. Li Xiaoyu (34), is a teacher from Jiebei Primary School No.1 in Chengdu City. She was forced to leave her home in June 2001 because of the persecution against Falun Gong. In April 2002, she was detained. In July 2003, she took advantage of a court hearing to expose Jiang Zemin's crimes against Falun Gong Falun. She was then sentenced to ten years in prison. Currently, she is being detained in the Chuanxi Prison for Women, where she has been subjected to torture because she will not comply with the forced heavy labor. She has become extremely weak, her face is swollen, several of her upper teeth have fallen out and some of the others have come lose because of the beatings she has received.

Ms. Wang Guangyuan is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Gantang Township of Tongzhou, Beijing who works for the Xinggezhuang Clothes Manufacturer . On May 19, 2004, in the afternoon, police from the Tongzhou Public Security Bureau arrested her at work. Since she lives alone and has only one child, nobody learned of her arrest until eleven days later.

Cao Zhixia, the director of the "610 Office" in Handan City and guards at the Handan Forced Labor camp control the Intensive Brainwashing Program at the camp. Currently, over twenty practitioners are detained there including Wang Yan, Han Meng, Zhang Hua'e, Li Tongzhi, Wang Zhijun, Gu Daping and other practitioners.

Ms. Zhu Jingxue and Ms. Yang Lihua from Handan City, Fuxing District were abducted by police for distributing printed matter explaining the truth about Falun Gong on May 29, 2004. It is possible that they are beingdetained at the Fengfeng Mine Area Detention Center in Handan City.

Zheng Bao, a practitioner from Maoming City in his seventies was arrested by officials from the "610 Office" in Maoming City on May 26. Currently he is being subjected to abuse at the Maoming Detention Center No.2.

Police from the Politics & Security Section of the Changchun Public Security Bureau wrongfully detained Ms. Liu Wenfang, a Changchun practitioner. Her home was searched without justification.

Ms. Wu Lixia, a practitioner from Fushun City was arrested at home at around 11:00 a.m. on May 10. Her home was searched illegally, and her Dafa books, tape recorder and Falun Dafa exercise music tapes were confiscated.
