1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Gao Ke Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Gao Ke was reported when clarifying the truth to people. At around 3:00 p.m. on February 28, 2006, police arrested him at his place of employment, the Yumin Elementary School in the Daowai District, Harbin City. Neither the police nor the school notified his family about the arrest. His family didn't know about it until March 3. It's unknown where Gao Ke is being held at the moment. The police are waiting at his home and arrested a woman Dafa practitioner when she visited his home.
2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Qingdao City 610 Office and Judicial Bureau Agents Refuse Falun Gong Practitioner Family's Right to Cosult with An Attorney
The Qingdao City 610 Office and the Judicial Bureau authorities in Shandong Province interfered with a lawyer's case by pressuring the families of Dafa practitioners Sun Hong and Min Huirong to revoke their right to consult with an attorney.
After the arrest of Dafa practitioners Sun Hong and his wife Min Huirong from Qingdao City, police officers from Licang District, Qingdao City blatantly violated Chinese laws by preventing the attorney from meeting with the practitioners after the police received orders from Qingdao City 610 Office. When Min Huirong's parents filed a lawsuit to pursue justice, police from Licang District were frightened and quickly transferred the case to the Licang District Procuratorate.
According to the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China and The Legal Code of the People's Republic of China, during the filing of the lawsuit the plaintiffs are entitled to legal assistance and defense, and the lawyer has the right to meet with and defend the plaintiff. No government agency, organization or individual is allowed to interfere with this process. The Qingdao City 610 Office fears that the lawyer would expose its outrageous violations of the law and therefore ordered the Qingdao City Judicial Bureau to pressure the lawyer to refuse to represent the practitioners Sun Hong and Min Huirong in their case.
Dafa practitioners Sun Hong and Min Huirong lived on Zhenhua Road in the Licang District. They drove home from their father's home in the evening of September 21, 2005. Before they got out of the car, officers from the Licang Police Department who had been waiting outside their home approached them. Citing "ID check," they took the couple's ID cards and car keys and then ransacked their home. They took more than 15,000 yuan in cash, and a purse and arrested the couple. These morally depraved officers went back to the home the next day and removed the remaining cash, bank deposit slips and salary cards, totaling over 10,000 yuan. Sun Hong and Min Huirong were held at the Qingdao City Detention Center where they were beaten and tortured by guards Liu Yong and others. The captors tore handfuls of hair off the front of Sun Hong's head. A month later the couple were transferred to the Qingdao City 610 Office Brainwashing Class on No. 34 Mingxia Road in Qingdao City.

It has been verified that Zhang Lixin, whom spies have manipulated, destroyed the Dafa materials production site at Yanjiao in Sanhe City on February 25, 2006.
4. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Three Dafa Practitioners Arrested in July 2005
Practitioners Ms. Wang Hanmin, Ms. Song Chunmei and Ms. Guo Huanyuan were arrested and have been held at the No. 1 Detention Center in Ezhou City.
5. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Lu Yufen Held at a Beijing Brainwashing Class
Practitioner Ms. Lu Yufen, employed at the No. 1 Division of the Launch Vehicle Research Institute of the China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation has been transferred from the Fengtai District Brainwashing Class in the Fengtai District to a Beijing Brainwashing Class.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Liu Lijun Arrested by Police in Front of Home
It was learned that recently officers from the Zhongshan Police Department in the Dalian City Police Bureau and from the Tianjin Street Police Station arrested practitioner Liu Lijun from Dalian City. The police broke into Liu Lijun's home and ransacked it. Right now her place of detention is unknown.
7. [Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Savagely Tortured at the Tieling Forced Labor Camp
The authorities at the Tieling Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province block any information and forbid Dafa practitioners' families from visiting them. It wasn't learned until March 5, 2006 that on February 14, 2006 the head of the labor camp conducted an inspection. Four Dafa practitioners - Xiao Guozhi, Liu Zhenguo, Qian Chuanguo and Qin Jingtao refused to wear prison uniforms. The labor camp head ordered guards at Division 5 to cruelly beat the practitioners. Wang Guijun, head of Division 5 and roughneck Su Li shocked the practitioners with electric batons. They inserted electric batons inside the practitioners' mouths.
8. [Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Lin Xiuqin Held Beyond Term at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Prior to April 25, 2005, Dafa practitioner Lin Xiuqin had been on hunger strike for 100 days in an effort to resist the persecution. She is skin and bones and is now being held beyond term at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. On January 27, 2006, New Year's Eve [Chinese lunar calendar], Lin Xiuqin and other determined Dafa practitioners wished Teacher a happy New Year. The guards turned over the table, and the practitioners went on another hunger strike. One practitioner was handcuffed and hung from a heating pipe for one-and-a-half days.
9. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Exposing Cruel Tortures against Dafa Practitioners at the Mudanjiang Prison
On February 22, 2006, Tang Xiaohui, head of Division 8 of the Mudanjiang Prison, political head Chen Zhanfeng, guards Wu Xuejun and Zhang Shengli were monitoring Dafa practitioners around the clock. The practitioners are Huang Guodong, Guan Wenlong, Zhang Shijiang and Xu Xiangdong. The captors forced them to work. They later detained the practitioners in solitary confinement for 24 hours.
Practitioner Huang Guodong was sent to solitary confinement on February 23 and in the evening, inmate Guan Zhenli savagely beat him. On February 24, guard Wu Xuejun and another guard first beat practitioner Liu Jun, and then they dragged practitioner Guan Wenlong to the restroom and assaulted him with electric batons and rubber clubs for over an hour. Inmates later carried Guan Wenlong out. Guan Wenlong's right leg was crippled from the beating. Guard Wu Xuejun followed behind and stabbed Guan Wenlong's back with an awl. They forbade him to eat lunch and again beat him in the restroom. That same day, guard Zhang Shengli hung practitioner Zhang Shijiang from a heating pipe for more than thirty minutes while Zhang Shijiang was tied with a rope. Then the guard dragged Zhang Shijiang into the restroom and he and three other guards shocked him with electric batons until the batons ran out of electricity. They threw him outside in the freezing cold, where he shivered. Inmate Chen Zhonghe begged the guards to let him in, and he had to be carried inside. Right after the guards came to work on February 25, guard Wu Xuejun again stabbed practitioner Guan Wenlong with an awl. Then he dragged Guan Wenlong to the restroom and beat him for more than thirty minutes.
10. [Hebei Province] Atrocities against Dafa Practitioners at the No. 4 Women's Division at the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp
The No. 4 Women's Division of the Gaoyang Labor Camp is nicknamed "Hebei Province's Masanjia Labor Camp." It is a demon's den where Dafa practitioners are abused and mistreated under the persecution. Because the "reform rate" quota [percentage of Dafa practitioners who renounced their belief after torture and brainwashing] is high, many Dafa practitioners who remained determined at other labor camps were sent here.
In November 2000, a newly arrived Dafa practitioner was shocked with the electric current from a wired radio for about seven hours. She almost lost consciousness and was on the brink of death. The guards overheard her telling of the torture to other practitioners, and guards dragged her away and shocked her with electric batons making her lose consciousness for several hours. She was subsequently locked in a jet-black storage room of torture tools for one week. Her body was covered with electric shock wounds after she returned to the dorm room.
The labor camp also forces Dafa practitioners to do slave labor.
After beating the practitioners, the guards deceive the practitioners with feigned kind words and throw parties, sing, dance and play badminton to create a "warm and relaxed" atmosphere to deceive the media and the public.
In 2001, Jiang's morally bankrupt minions allocated a large sum of money to remodel the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp. A luxurious four-story building was erected and is used as a showpiece to cover up the inhumane tortures that happen inside. Practitioners Han Junmiao, Ms. Li and her sister, as well as many others have been tortured here until there was no intact skin on their bodies.
11. [Beijing] Zhao Cheng Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
Practitioner Mr. Zhao Cheng, a resident in Beijing's Chaoyang District, handed some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials to one of his former colleagues surnamed Wang. Wang reported Zhao Cheng. Policeman Zhang Yongqiang arrested Zhao. Ma Shilan, Zhao's wife, was beaten and police also arrested their daughter who does not practice Falun Gong. The family is currently being held at the Beijing Dongcheng Detention Center.
12. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested
On March 3, 2006, police from the Haidian District in Beijing arrested practitioners Bai Shaohua, Li Xupeng and Ma Wanli. Bai Shaohua was in poor health due to the persecution. The next day, personnel from the Huanan Forest Bureau received a notice from the Beijing Police Department that required them to bail Bai Shaohua out for hospitalization. Personnel from the bureau did not pick Bai up, claiming that Bai's residence registration had already lapsed [and they were not responsible].
13. [Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
On February 17, 2006, practitioner Ms. Ma Shufen from Mudanjiang City and practitioner Ms. Zhou Zhirong from Muling City went to practitioner Wu Guoli's home in the Xiachengzi area in Wuling City to visit Wu's family. Police arrested them shortly after they entered Wu's home.
On February 12, 2006, personnel from the City Xiachengzi Police Station broke into Wu Guoli's home with a master key, and arrested Wu and sent him/her into the Bamiantong National Security Brigade for detention.
14. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] March 14 Trial of Practitioner Huang Juxiu After Being Held at a Brainwashing Class
On October 10, 2005, practitioner Ms. Huang Juxiu from Yueyang City, Hunan Province was put into the Hubin Detention Center brainwashing class. As she did not compromise with the police, brainwashing class personnel were afraid of her influence on other practitioners and transferred her into the Yunxi District Detention Center. On January 23, 2006, they transferred her again, this time into the Huarong County Detention Center. Huang Juxiu has been prosecuted and will be tried on March 14, 2006.
15. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] A Truth-Clarifying Materials Production Site Damaged and Over a Dozen Practitioners Arrested
During the daytime on February 28, 2006, a truth-clarifying materials-production site in Yanji City was damaged. We know that many practitioners including Liu, Song and Dong were arrested. Some practitioners were arrested at a street crosswalk, and some at home. Detailed information is unknown.
16. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Information About Practitioner Yang Zhanjiu Held in the Siping Shiling Prison
At present, practitioner Mr. Yang Zhanjiu, held at the Siping Shiling Prison has no feelings from the knees on down, and he is bedridden.
In late February 2006, Yang's older brother went to the prison to visit him. Doctors in the prison hospital complained to him of the difficulties of taking care of Yang Zhanjiu. It was heard that a doctor planned to amputate both of Yang's legs below the knee.
17. [Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Lu Shulin Held at Jilin Province No. 2 Prison Needs Urgent Rescue
At present, practitioner Lu Shulin, held at Jilin Province's No. 2 Prison, is in very critical condition. Policemen Zhang Heng and Wang Lianfa have prevented Lu Shulin from being bailed out for hospitalization despite the fact that Lu Shulin's life is in peril. Falun Gong practitioners both inside and outside of China have clarified the truth to relevant officials and offices. The Prison Management Bureau officials accused Zhang and Wang of blackmail. In early March, the two people signed documents for Lu Shulin's family to bail him out. The family asked when Lu Shulin would be released. They replied, "We won't tell you, otherwise you guys will do stuff again." They are referring to overseas fellow practitioners calling them and clarifying the truth to them.
18. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Police Arrest Li Xinhua for Clarifying the Truth
Practitioner Li Xinhua from Gujialing Village, Jinggou Town, Gaomi City, clarified the truth of Falun Gong to people. Someone who didn't know the truth reported her to police. At 8:00 p.m. on March 3, 2006, police arrested her. Her whereabouts are unknown.
19. [Shanghai] Practitioner Shao Hongzhen Detained for Distributing Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party CDs
Practitioner Ms. Shao Hongzhen from the Xuhui District, Shanghai City, is 56 years old and lives on Longhua Street. On January 23, 2006 police arrested her while she was distributing the Nine Commentaries CDs in a residential area near Xietu Road, Xuhui District. Personnel from the Longhua Police Station detained Shao Hongzhen at the Xuhui District Detention Center located at No. 15, 398 Lane, Longwu Road. They have not yet released her.
Shao Hongzhen used to live in the Minhang District, Shanghai. After 1999, she was subjected to two arrests by personnel from the District Police Station, was detained for one month and imprisoned for three years, respectively. This is the third time she was held. Besides her arrest, several practitioners from Meilong Street, the Xuhui District were arrested around the Chinese New Year. Detailed information is unknown.

20. [Heilongjiang Province] Tian Yong Suffers from Severe Torture at the Tailai Prison - Ten Fingers Turn Black
At present, practitioner Mr. Tian Yong is still being held in solitary confinement in the Tailai Prison, Heilongjiang Province. His ten fingers were pressed so hard that they turned black. He is tied to a board and suffers from severe torture.
21. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Police Break into and Ransack Practitioner Liu Fengran's Home
On March 3, 2006, several policemen from the Sunzhuang Township Police Station suddenly broke into practitioner Liu Fengran's home in Beihengqi Village. While no one was at home, they pried the lock open, broke down the door and confiscated some Falun Dafa books and a cell phone.
22. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Police Ransack Liu Xiuzhen's Home and Arrest Her
During the afternoon of February 4, 2006, personnel from the Laishui County Police Department and agents from the 610 Office broke into practitioner Liu Xiuzhen's home and confiscated her laptop computer and Falun Dafa books. They arrested Liu Xiuzhen and put her into the County Detention Center.
23. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
On March 3, 2006, practitioners An Wenqi, Bai Guilan, Jiao Meishan, a practitioner surnamed Song and one whose name is unknown from Shijiazhuang City were arrested. Now they are being held at the city's No. 2 Detention Center.

Patrol policemen arrested practitioner Hong from Wafangdian City when Hong was painting Dafa truth-clarifying slogans.
25. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Han Xiufeng Arrested
On March 4, police arrested practitioner Ms. Han Xiufeng, in her 30s, from Ligezhuang Town in Jiaozhou City at her workplace.
26. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner An Wenqi Arrested and Home Ransacked
Around noon on March 3, 2006, An Wenqi went to a practitioner's home, but personnel from Xinhua District Police Station arrested the two practitioners. Afterwards, police ransacked An Wenqi's home. In the afternoon, police took An Wenqi and ransacked another home in An's hometown. Now An is being held at the district police station.
27. [Baiquan County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
During the afternoon of March 4, 2006, practitioners Ms. Gao Zhiqin, Ms. Jia Xiuyun, and Ms. Liu Jinrong from Baiquan County were reported to police when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials and putting up banners. Local 610 Office agents and police arrested them. In the evening their homes were ransacked. Now the three practitioners are incarcerated.

28. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Huang Zhiqiang and Guo Meizhen Held at the Xinxiang City Detention Center
On January 6, 2006, personnel from the Xinxiang City Muye Police Department broke into and ransacked the home of Huang Zhiqiang, an employee of the state-owned No. 760 Factory. They confiscated truth-clarifying materials, a copy machine, and even a computer belonging to Huang Zhiqiang's son. That same day three other practitioners' homes were ransacked in Xinxiang City. Huang Zhiqing was first held at the Xinxing City Detention Center but was later transferred to another detention center. On January 15, 2006, practitioner Zhao Tingyun, who was held in the same detention center, was tortured to death.
Practitioner Ms. Guo Meizhen from the Beizhan District, Xinxiang City has been arrested and is now in the City Detention Center.
29. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Shumei Held for Posting Truth-Clarifying Materials Exposing Persecution of Local Practitioners
After 8:00 p.m. on March 3, 2006, practitioner Wang Shumei from Cangzhou City was reported. He had been posting Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials to expose the persecution of practitioners in the community in the neighborhood of the Xinhua Police Department in Cangzhou City. At around 10:00 p.m., seven to eight policemen broke into and ransacked Wang's home. At present, Wang Shumei is being held at the city's No. 2 Detention Center.

30. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Zhang Lianjun, a Student of Tsinghua University, Suffers from Cruel Persecution
Practitioner Zhang Lianjun, an undergraduate at Tsinghua University who was held in the Chifeng City Prison in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was subjected to brutal tortures for refusing to give up Falun Gong. Zhang was once sent to the Chifeng City Hospital for emergency care at the end of 2005.

32. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Liu Li from Shuanghe Town Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Li, around 50 years old, lives in Shuanghe Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province, and was recently arrested. Ms. Liu Li is still being held at the Yongji County Detention Center.
33. [Chongqing] Practitioner Li Jiahui Arrested
In December 2005, officers Yu Dequan and Zhu Mingqi from Shiqiaopu High Tech Development Zone Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Li Jiahui from Chongqing. Currently, she is being held at the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp.
34. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Fan Xuequan Sentenced to Forced Labor in Tangshan City
In September 2004, practitioner Mr. Fan Xuequan from Xishui County, Hubei Province was arrested when clarifying the truth in the Chaoyang District. He was then transferred to the No. 4 Team, No. 3 Brigade, No. 27 Brick Yard in the Kaiping District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province to serve a forced labor sentence. Due to police authorities' interference, his family and friends have so far been prevented from visiting him. Fan Xuequan leads a difficult life in the prison. We hope fellow practitioners can expose and stop the persecution against him.
35. [ Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners including Ma Jun, Fang Jianping, and Wei Zhouxiang from Lanzhou City were arrested at Ma Jun's home. A laptop computer, a printer and some other personal belongings were confiscated. Ms. Wei Zhouxiang, in her 30s, a college graduate, has since been held at the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Class.
36. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and Sentenced to Long Term Imprisonment - A Truth-Clarifying Materials Production Site is Damaged
On June 17, 2005, personnel from the Tianjia'an District Huaixi Police Station and from the Ancheng Town Police Station in Huinan City, Anhui Province, including Yao Guohai and Ge Liang, arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Zhiqiang and put him into the City No. 1 Detention Center. Nine months have passed. Wang Zhiqiang's weight dropped from over 170 lbs. to only 90 lbs. due to persecution.
In addition, during this period police damaged several truth-clarifying material production sites. Several practitioners were arrested including Chen Xiu'an, Ms. Zhang Baoxia, Ms. Sun Shuying, and Mr. and Mrs. Huang. They have been sentenced to long imprisonment, from five to thirteen years.
37. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] 610 Office Police Follow and Arrest Several Practitioners
Practitioners Zhang Yueying, Cui Yuping and her son Ren Yong are from Datong City, Shanxi Province. On March 3, 2006, 610 Office policemen led by Feng and Sun secretly followed them for a long time. They then called twenty "110" policemen and anti-riot policemen to forcibly arrest the three practitioners on the street.
Practitioner Chen Ai is from Datong City, Shanxi Province. On March 3, 2006, when she was chatting with her mother and neighbors, suddenly lawless policeman Ja Yong broke into the house. When he saw Dafa books, he began to brutally beat Chen Ai. Chen Ai's mother, about 70 years old, tried to stop Ja Yong but was pushed down to the ground. Later he confiscated the books and left.
The second day, Chen Ai went to the police station to request that Ja Yong return her books but Ja Yong refused and even threatened her.

38. [Tianjin] Lawless Policemen Break into Practitioner Wu Guirong's Home and Arrest Her
Practitioner Ms. Wu Guirong is from the Wuqing District, Tianjin City. On February 26, 2006, lawless policemen arrested Wu Guirong (Fan Jianming's wife) at her home and put her into the Dongpuwa Street Police Station. Her daughter, a pupil at Yangcun Village No. 5 Secondary School is left alone at home. The police station head is Dong Yuliang.
Wu Guirong's daughter cried every day. She simply wanted her mother to accompany her. So she went to the police station to ask for the release of her mother on February 27, but failed. On March 1, she went to the police station again and decided to get her mother back by any means. Finally, Wu Guirong went back home. However, the mother and daughter felt helpless. They felt unsafe even though the door was locked, thinking the police might come to harass them at any time.
39. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Graduate Student Zhuo Qilin Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor for Clarifying the Truth
Zuo Qilin, 26, graduated from Yantai University in Shandong Province. He clarified the truth of Falun Gong to his classmate but was reported and arrested. In August 2005 he was sentenced to two years of forced labor. He has recently been transferred to the Fei County Detention Center.

At around noon on March 2, 2006, lawless policemen from the Beishidian Police Precinct affiliated with the Jincheng City Police Department in Shanxi Province arrested practitioner Zhao Feng.

Practitioner Yu Zhiping was arrested in June 2005. She has already been detained at Nanchang City No. 1 Detention Center for eight months.

44. [Linkou County, Heilongjiang Province] Liu Xiaosuo's Whereabouts Unknown for a Long Time
Practitioner Mr. Liu Xiaosuo, about 40 years old, is a farmer in Sandaotong Village, Linkou County. He was sentenced to three years of prison time in 2000. Less than one year after being released he was again arrested when working in his field and was detained at Mudanjiang City Forced Labor Camp. When his family went to visit him, they were told that he had been transferred to somewhere unknown. His whereabouts are still unknown.
