Aug. 4

A typical example that how the Chinese media monopolized by CCP fabricate stories by distorting the facts.

Ms. Wang Liping was arrested and sent to the force labor camp, because CCP officials found Falun Gong fliers in their residence compound. The police confiscated several dozens blank CDs in her store as "evidence" and assumed she was the suspect.

When Ms. Li Yaohua's 91 years old father returned to Shanghai after 30 years living in Taiwan, his reunion dream was broken. With no one to take care him, he had to run around for help.

Aug. 5

Attorney Wang Yonghang in Dalian City defended Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. As a result, police broke into his home and arrested him and his wife. His wife and elderly mother were also physically assaulted.

On July 11, 2009, the local police in Zhuzhou City arrested Ms. Zhang Xinyi and detained her at District Police Precinct, where she was interrogated. Currently, she is detained at the 2nd of Detention Center of Zhuzhou City. Ms. Zhang has begun a hunger strike to protest the persecution. This is her third arrest for practicing Falun Gong.

Aug. 6

Mr. Fu Zhenyong, 64, has been repeatedly harassed by local police officers for believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." In April 2009, he was secretly tried and later sentenced to nine years in prison.

Aug. 7

A family of refugees is reunited in Germany.

Ms. Tang, 73, is a retired associate professor from Luzhou Medical Institute was arrested in her home on June 23, 2009.

Aug. 8

After Mr. Yang Guiquan, 45,  died on July 5, 2009; major wounds were visible on his back as well as on the back of his skull. Signs of electric shocks were also observed on his legs. His family was not allowed any inquiry or appeal.

Peng Jinping is confined to a cell and brutally treated.
