Mr. Liu Zhenhua, a Falun Gong practitioner from Beijing, passed away

Mr. Liu Zhenhua lived in Tianshuiyuan of Chaoyang District, Beijing. Before practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Liu had several illnesses such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, glaucoma, etc. After practicing Falun Gong, all of his illnesses were gone. In early 2006, he was taken into custody by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) police from his home and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. In the forced labor camp, he was persecuted by the guards and criminals, which caused his illnesses such as diabetes and glaucoma to return. He almost lost sight in both eyes. In June 2007, he was released for medical treatment. The CCP staff members continued to constantly harass him. On August 26, 2009, Mr. Liu Zhenhua passed away. He was 63 years old.

Mr. Jin Guangzhu, a Falun Gong practitioner from Yanbian of Jilin Province, passed away

Jin Guangzhu was born in 1964 and lived in Shitou Village, Liangshui Town, Tumen City. Before practicing Falun Gong, although he was an upright honest person, he had a very bad temper and often caused trouble for his family. His family worried about him a lot. Because he had severe arthritis, he had serious pains in his legs. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1999. After starting to practice, he underwent great changes both physically and mentally. He no longer had pains in his body. Moreover, he did not drink alcohol, neither did he smoke cigarettes. He did not cause any trouble for his family any more and he both respected elderly people and cared for younger ones. He became his household's supporter. His parents stated that it was Falun Gong that had saved their son.

In January 2001, Mr. Jin Guangzhu went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was illegally arrested and sent to Yanji Forced Labor Camp, where he was inhumanly and brutally tortured. He was beaten up. Once he was locked in a frozen storage room for one week only because he did not obey the rules of the forced labor camp and picked up his 5-year-old daughter who had come to visit him. The forced labor camp did not give him any bedding. He was shivering from cold all the time. Each day they only gave him two small steamed buns (one in the morning and one in the evening). It was far beyond what his body could endure. When he was released, his face was pale and he had no energy. After he returned home, he had cancer and went to the hospital but the treatment was ineffective. He passed away in May 2008.
