(Clearwisdom.net) Each year on May 13 (World Falun Dafa Day and Teacher's birthday), lunar August 15 (Moon Festival, holiday of family reunions), and Chinese New Year, Dafa practitioners around the world use a variety of means on the Minghui and Clearwisdom websites to send their regards to Teacher. As the New Year is near, I would like to talk about my personal understanding of sending greetings to Teacher.
There are good reasons for sending greeting to Teacher: 1) Dafa practitioners express their respect for Teacher, the Fa and validate the glorious and pure Dafa. 2) Dafa practitioners, together, making this gesture frighten the evil. When together, we send our regards to Teacher, who is most afraid? Of course, it is the evil; even with the severe persecution of Dafa practitioners, the evil cannot change its regard for Dafa cultivation and respect for Teacher and the Fa. Our greetings are weapons for removing the evil in other dimensions. 3) Dafa practitioners sending greetings to Teacher displays their magnificence in other dimensions and their permanence in the universe.
Fellow practitioners, please don't be hindered by your human mindset. Show your true heart to Teacher and thus eradicate evil and validate the Fa--even simple words can mean everything! (Of course, we should not go to extremes and have the attachment of taking photos and making elaborate productions in order to send greetings. That is not what Teacher wants. If we persist in self-glorifying displays, we will waste valuable time instead of using it to save sentient beings.)
