More than 20 officers from the Xiangfang District Domestic Security Division, 610 Office and Liushun Police Station broke into Ms. Qi Yaru's home on December 31, 2011. Ms. Qi wasn't at home. The police coerced Wang Dejun to lead them to her relative's home where they arrested Ms. Qi.
Ms. Gong Wenyi from the Daowai District, Ms. Guo Yulan from the Xiangfang District, Mr. Zhang Baoquan from the Xiangfang District and 30 other practitioners were arrested together by the police on the morning of December 31, 2011. The police broke into the house with a master key.
Mr. Wang Xinyu and others from the Dongli District were arrested on the evening of December 29.
