(Minghui.org) Columbia University held its annual Activities Day to introduce students to the clubs on campus on September 7, 2012. The Falun Dafa Club participated in the event and let many students know about the practice.

The Falun Dafa Club booth had paper lotuses and introductory materials in English, Chinese, and Korean. Many students showed an interest in learning meditation. Those who had heard about Falun Dafa before wanted to learn more about it. The practitioners provided detailed information and collected many signatures on a petition urging the State Department to help stop the Chinese Communist Party's crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Several students wanted to learn how to meditate. They were interested in joining the Falun Gong morning exercises on campus. A student who had contacted practitioners before was very happy to see the Falun Dafa booth and hoped to learn the practice as soon as possible.

The Falun Dafa Club plans to hold an introductory workshop for the students who left their contact information.
