Blazing Fire Stops Despite Fierce Wind
In January 2005, my husband asked me to burn all the hay in our cornfield so we could grow peanuts later. I hesitated, as the day was very windy and cold. But at my husband’s insistence, I went anyway.
With help from the wind, the fire quickly burned up most of the hay. I was very happy, as this was my first time doing this. What I imagined to be a complicated task turned out to be quite easy.
As the wind grew stronger, the fire leaped into the air and almost reached the electrical wires. If the fire continued to spread to the south, it would damage my neighbor’s fruit field. Petrified with fear, my heart thumped and I broke out in a cold sweat.
I looked around, hoping someone could help me. But I saw no one. When I had given up all hope, I suddenly thought of Master Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Gong). I shouted in heart, “Master, help me! Please help me stop the fire. I’m a new practitioner. If the fire burns the wires or my neighbor’s field, I could go bankrupt. Master, save me please!” I cried out in my mind again and again, sincerely believing that Master would help me.
A moment later, the fire began to die down, as if it had received an order to stop. In the end, only small flames remained, waiting to be extinguished. I ran over and put them out with a rake. After I took a deep breath, tears of gratitude ran down my cheeks. I pressed my hands together in front of my chest and kept saying, “Thank you, Master! Thank you, Master!”
It has been eight years since that incident, but whenever it comes to my mind, I’m always grateful to Master and Dafa. I have written down my experience to share with everyone, hoping people with predestined relationships can remember, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
Husband and Tourists Survive Bus Accident - from Jiangxi Province
My husband doesn’t practice Falun Gong, but he knows the facts about Falun Gong and supports me in my cultivation practice.
On the morning of February 26, 2013, he was driving a bus with ten tourists down Lushan Mountain, when the brakes suddenly failed. My husband was stunned, and his passengers started to panic. At that moment, he thought of Master Li. He cried out in his mind, “Master, please help us!” Immediately, a large tree came into view, and he decided to run into the tree to stop the bus.
The impact knocked over the tree and destroyed the front of the bus. The startled tourists jumped out of the bus with help from passing motorists. Everyone assumed that my husband didn't make it, but they heard him shouting for help. With everyone’s help, he was finally pulled out.
Although the bus was totaled, all the tourists and my husband escaped serious injury and were amazed to have survived such a serious accident.
I was greatly moved when I heard about it. As Master said, “When one person obtains the Fa, the whole family will benefit.” (“Teaching the Fa and Answering Questions in Jinan” in Zhuan Falun Fajie - The Law of Zhuan Falun Explained) It is absolutely true that people who understand the truth about Falun Gong will have good fortune. Here I want to thank Master for saving my husband and the tourists. Thank you, Master!
