A Book Vendor with a Copy of Zhuan Falun

I had breakfast at the market today and passed by a book vendor on my way home. As I glanced through the books, I saw a copy of Zhuan Falun.
At first I thought I had made a mistake, but on closer inspection, it was Zhuan Falun! I was happy to see it, and I also noticed it was an earlier edition.
I asked the vendor the price, and he said, "25 yuan." I told him the book was priced at 12 yuan and asked why he was selling a pirated copy for 25. He replied, “Pirated copy? I could have charged you 100 yuan! This was published in the 1990s, and you can't find a copy from back then anywhere else!”
I couldn't help but smile. Things have certainly changed, and I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel!
A Neighbor Re-hung a Falun Dafa Banner

I often talk to one of my neighbors about Falun Dafa, so he knows that it is a good practice.
He told me that he noticed two Falun Dafa banners hanging from a tree, held in place with screws. As he walked by the tree one day, he saw a man yanking one of them down and taking out the screws.
He walked over and said him, “Why are you taking the banner down? If you need screws, I can give you some, but don't touch the banner. There is nothing we can do if rain or wind takes the banners down, but bad luck would follow those who mess with the banners. I believe that there are gods and that they will protect good people. The Communist Party is up to no good, and many like us can barely feed ourselves under this repressive regime.” He took the banner from the man and hung it back up on the tree.
