(Minghui.org) Mr. Huang Junliang from Chibi City was arrested and taken to the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center. His wife and son were beaten by the police.
About eight officers in plainclothes waited outside the residential building where Mr. Huang lives. When he and his family went downstairs at 8 a.m. on July 8, 2014, they arrested him without showing any ID.
Mr. Huang's son had already gotten into the car, and the officers demanded that he get out. When the son refused, they pulled him out, handcuffed him, pushed him down, and kicked him in the back.
Ms. Huang's wife, Ms. Gong Xiaoying, tried to stop them from beating her son, but they shoved her down, too. Her head hit the ground hard, leaving a gash behind her right ear. Blood streamed down.

Mr. Huang's daughter was also restrained by the police.
Many residents witnessed the incident and criticized the officers for their behavior.
The officers included head of Chibi Domestic Security Division Cai Jinping, chief of the Chunchuan Police Station Sun Zhigang, and deputy chief Xiong Fangqing.
Mr. Huang was taken to the brainwashing center in Banqiao Village, Wuhan City, that afternoon. The public name of this center is “Hubei Province Legal Education Bureau,” but it is under direct control of the Hubei Province 610 Office.
Previous Arrests
Mr. Huang and several other practitioners went to visit Mr. Zhong Shoubang at the Shayang Forced Labor Camp on August 2, 2009. They were arrested and taken to the Shayang Police Station, before being transferred to the Chibi Detention Center. Mr. Huang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force-fed by the guards. He was later put in shackles because he shouted “Falun Dafa is good!”
Mr. Huang and more than a dozen other practitioners were arrested and held in a detention center on October 28, 2002.
