(Minghui.org) Mr. Hu Yuanqin will face prosecution due to the Procuratorate's recent approval of his March 5th arrest.
Mr. Hu Yuanqin, 60, was the chairman of Jiangning Real Estate Development Company. On the night of March 5, 2014, police from the Jiangning District 610 Office broke into his company and illegally arrested him. He was first taken to the Jiangning District Detention Center and then transferred to the Nanjing Brainwashing Center. The police threatened to sentence him to prison if he refused to give up his belief.
Outstanding Businessman
Mr. Hu has been an outstanding businessman. In 1997, he was assigned to be the chairman and general manager of the Shuangning Group Corporation in Nanjing. The corporation encompassed a cement plant, a plastics plant, and an industrial park. It was about 100 million yuan in debt at that time and owed its employees their pensions and salaries.
When Mr. Hu started the job, the employees surrounded him and physically attacked him while asking for money, injuring his head. In spite of this, Mr. Hu controlled himself and followed Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He eventually resolved the conflicts, reformed the corporation, and reduced the debt.
Demoted for Practicing Falun Gong
When Mr. Hu was going to be promoted for his outstanding achievements, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong. His supervisors constantly urged him to give up his Falun Gong practice, which he firmly refused to do.
He soon lost his position in the corporation. However, some of the supervisors were sympathetic to him, and they kept him on as a manager for the industrial park.
Benefiting All Employees
After he took this position, he reformed the industrial park into a real estate development company. Instead of keeping the stock shares for himself, which is a common practice in China, he divided them up and gave shares to all the employees.
The employees not only got a salary, but also dividends. Everyone in the company said: "Only Falun Gong practitioners can be so righteous and so good.”
