(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhu Qunhua was reported to the police on September 1, 2015, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Zhu, in her 40s, is from Chengdu City. She and another practitioner were arrested and taken to the Jinma Police Station.
Ms. Zhu was interrogated. When an officer asked for her name, home address, and the source of the Falun Gong materials, she refused to answer so he slapped her face. She told the police about Falun Gong and reminded them that several high-ranking officials, including Zhou Yongkang and Li Dongsheng, were now suffering retribution for following Jiang Zemin's orders to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
“I'm not afraid to go to hell,” said one officer. He picked up an ashtray and threw it at Ms. Zhu's head.
Several officers took turns interrogating her, but she refused to cooperate. They handcuffed her and suspended her by her wrists. The handcuffs cut into her flesh.
She called out, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” The police quickly closed the window and the door. Some of them left the room. The handcuffs broke, so they hung her up with another set. They stuffed her mouth with a dirty washcloth and shocked her legs with an electric baton for more than 30 minutes.
When she was taken down, her hands were bleeding, and her legs were red and swollen from the electric baton. They had to carry her to a chair.
She still did not give them any information and advised them to do the right thing.
“We will let you go. We can call your family to pick you up. If you tell us where you are from, we can also call the local authorities to pick you up,” they claimed. She refused to answer.
“What we just did was to wake you up. We have more methods to make you talk,” they said.
Ms. Zhu told them that they would be held accountable for all their bad deeds. An officer then called several social workers from different districts to identify her, but no one knew her.
Officer Zheng Kai tried again to trick her, “It's midnight. It's dark outside and the ghosts are out. Why don't you let us call a friend of yours to pick you up?” Ms. Zhu again refused to answer and said she was not afraid of anything.
The police finally let her go. It was midnight and she had to walk home. She arrived home after 4 a.m.
