(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Guixiang and Daughter Ms. Li Xue in Critical Condition
Accompanied by a lawyer, Ms. Song Guixiang's family went to the Qingdao No. 3 Detention Center on the morning of October 9, 2015, to meet with her and her daughter separately. Ms. Song is in critical condition as a result of torture. She became paralyzed from waist down and is now incontinent. She has chest pain, and high blood pressure. Her daughter Ms. Li Xue has been in a coma after over 20 days of hunger strike, abstaining from both food and water. The detention center staff has still refused to release them.
2. [Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wang Xing Arrested
Mr. Wang Xing was arrested at the Guangzhou East Railway Station on the morning of October 10, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wei Wendong and Several Other Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Tonghe Police Department and the Nonghe Town Police Station arrested Mr. Wei Wendong and several other practitioners in Nonghe Town, Tonghe County, on October 9, 2015, for filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. Two practitioners were released after being fined 4,000 yuan each. Two were taken to Harbin City. Mr. Wei and the others were held in Tonghe County.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Lihua Detained
Ms. Zhang Lihua was taken to a detention center on October 8, 2015.
5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Liu Rong and Ms. Leng Yanping from Xiangyang Township were arrested at home by Liuhe County police officers on October 8, 2015.
Ms. Tai Shuqin and her husband Mr. Shen Zhichun, with the No. 6 Group of the Jing'an Residential Committee, Liuhe County, were arrested on October 9, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.
Officers from the Qianjin Police station arrested Ms. Feng Shuhua from Zixing Village. They also arrested Ms. Liu Shuhua, 75, of the Zhenxing Residential Committee. Ms. Liu was released that day.
6. [Shanghai] Mr. Wei Qi and Family Arrested
Gu Hongwei and other officers from the Qianqiao Police Station arrested Mr. Wei Qi at his tea shop on the morning of September 12, 2015. They confiscated a computer, a printer, a DVD burner, and Falun Dafa books.
Mr. Wei's wife Ms. Li Xueying and their three-year-old son were also taken to the police station. Mr. Wei's wife and son were released that night. Mr. Wei is being held in the Fengxian Detention Center.

7. [Xianning City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Leaders of the Jiayu County Highway Section and officers from the Jiayu County Police Department broke into four practitioners' homes on the afternoon of October 9, 2015, and arrested them. The practitioners included Mr. He Yaoping, Ms. Xiong Qunlan, Ms. Yin Fengying, and Mr. Liu Anzi.

8. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Yuesen Arrested
Mr. Chen Yuesen, in his seventies, a retired teacher, was arrested by officers from the Longtan Town Police Station in Youyang County on October 9, 2015. His home was ransacked.
9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang Xiuhuan Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
Ms. Huang Xiuhuan was sentenced to three and a half years in prison on August 26, 2015, after being held in the Jilin City Detention Center for 11 months. She has appealed the sentence.
