(Minghui.org) I have noticed recently while talking to people about Falun Gong, that the atmosphere has changed. Many agree to tell others about Falun Gong.
Shen Yun DVD: “This is a gift from the gods”
I went to a beach to distribute Shen Yun DVDs in April, 2015, and still had some DVDs left.
When I passed a supermarket, I saw a group of people who were planting trees. I said, “This is the number one show in the world. Its performances show pure compassion and beauty.” Before I could say another word, a man came running and asked for several copies. He said that his sisters all wanted to see the performance, “People who believe in gods and Buddhas all like to watch this.”
As soon as the others heard him they also wanted a DVD. The first man told them, “Go home and watch this show, this is a gift from gods.”
Elderly Lady: “Only predestined people can get this”
One day I was at a large outdoor market. I hesitated to distribute Shen Yun DVDs there because fellow practitioners had already distributed DVDs over the past couple of months, so I thought it might be a waste of my time. On second thought, there were always new people at the market, so I decided to distribute anyway.
As I distributed the DVDs and introduced Shen Yun, one older woman asked if it had to do with Falun Gong. I said yes, and told her that the show was about 5,000 years of Chinese culture. The woman put her hands together in a prayer gesture and thanked me. She said she had looked for a Shen Yun DVD for a long time, and was very happy to finally find it!
I then introduced Shen Yun to another person. That same elderly woman chimed in, saying, “Only predestined people can get this!” Hearing that, the other person accepted the DVD without hesitation.
I was moved that the lady stayed with me and helped promote Shen Yun.
Man Said: “Falun Gong is good, do you know?”
One day I ran into a middle-aged man. I greeted him and handed him a Shen Yun DVD. He asked right away if it was about Falun Gong.
I said, “Yes, you will want to watch it. Genuinely good literary and artistic works have no class or country distinction.”
He took the DVD and said sincerely, “Let me tell you. Falun Gong is good. Do you know?”
I smiled warmly.
