(Minghui.org) In the past several months, the police have been visiting Falun Dafa practitioners who filed lawsuits against former dictator Jiang Zemin. Many of these visits have turned out to be a mere formality.
Some officers hurriedly ask a few questions and leave. Others take practitioners to the police station but just verbally threaten them. Some make phone calls instead of bothering to go to the practitioners' homes in person.
One police chief finally told his subordinates to just stop making follow-up visits.
Authorities Less Aggressive
One practitioner was producing Falun Dafa informational flyers in her home when the police showed up. Five printer/copiers were working at the same time. When they saw this, the officers took her to the station. But the practitioner explained the facts about Falun Dafa with strong righteous thoughts and was released that afternoon.
In the past, this would have been considered a major case, and she most certainly would have been persecuted.
Employers More Supportive
A Political and Legal Affairs Committee member spoke to another practitioner who is a government employee. His boss had a casual, friendly talk with him and asked him not to file a lawsuit. He told the practitioner, “The higher-ups say they won't investigate anyone who filed lawsuits in the past. But any new plaintiff will be fired or arrested.”
The practitioner smiled and replied, “They seem to be trying to bolster their courage!”
Police Chief Tells His Subordinates to Stop Participating
A police chief eventually told his subordinates, “Let's stop the follow-up visits.”
These follow-up visits appear to be on the rise, but the officers know they are violating the law. They know the visits are meaningless and are having the opposite effect.
In fact, some police officers have quit the Communist organizations after listening to practitioners explain why they are filing the lawsuits. It was essentially just a test to see if practitioners could let go of the attachment to life and death.
The Importance of Being Diligent
A fellow practitioner whose celestial eye is open said, “Based on my level of cultivation, I can see the practitioners who don't know how to write indictments but still filed lawsuits with others' help have a golden mark on their bodies. Those who wrote indictments by themselves were giving speeches to sentient beings in another dimension. It was a magnificent scene. But those who haven't filed lawsuits aren't in good shape.”
The evil forces are losing this battle, so I hope more practitioners will become diligent in their cultivation and offer salvation to sentient beings.
