(Minghui.org) I displayed asthma symptoms from the time I was born, but I was not diagnosed with asthma until I was 32 years old. During asthma attacks I had to stand or I could not breathe and had to be hospitalized from 10 to 15 days.
Besides asthma, I was also diagnosed with diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease. To my chagrin, one of my doctors told me that I would not have a long life span.
Cultivators Have No Ailments
My life took a turn for the better when I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1997. However, I still faced health problems, but I always remembered what Teacher, whom cultivators also call Master, said: “True cultivators have no illnesses” (“Explaining the Fa for Falun Dafa Assistants in Changchun” in Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa).
It is hard to believe, but I no longer experienced asthma attacks after I practiced Dafa and it has been 17 years since my last attack.
Benefiting from Reciting Falun Dafa Is Good
My wife is 85 years old, but we remember clearly that her back suddenly hurt in 2001. She went to the county hospital and was diagnosed with lumbar disc extrusion, a very common back condition in the lower back area. The doctors told her to go home and rest and it might heal by itself.
Her pain did not disappear, so I told her to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good!” She did not even realize that she was no longer in pain and the lumbar disc extrusion healed by itself.
An 87-year-old man in our village was diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis, which is caused by a blockage in blood vessels that supply blood to the brain. He was bedridden, as one side of his body was paralyzed.
I visited him in 2009 and talked to him about Dafa. I also advised him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I also gave him an amulet and asked him to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
I went to see him in 2010 and saw that he could sit up by himself. I encouraged him to keep reciting the phrases and when I visited him again in 2011, he was able to get out of bed and stand without any help. I encouraged him to keep reciting the phrases and when I visited him in 2012, he could walk with a cane. He no longer needed the cane in 2013.
There are two villagers who know that Dafa is good and never left their home without a Dafa amulet. When they were working on the railway, both of them fell, with one falling about seven meters and the other close to five meters. Neither one was injured. They are certain that they were fine because they believe that Dafa is good and they had the Dafa amulet on them.
Talking to People about Dafa Without Prejudice
I have helped people quit the CCP since 2005. For me, it does not matter if the person is a blue-collar worker, farmer, businessman, student, or government official.
I ran into an official in 2012. I greeted him and asked about his background. He said that he had been the secretary of the CCP township committee for the past 15 years.
I took him aside and talked to him about Falun Dafa. I said, “I don't know if you have heard about a stone that was found in Pingtang County, Guizhou Province. The words carved into the stone were, 'Chinese Communist Party Collapse'. Geologists determined that these words were not man made … The heaven is showing us that the CCP will collapse. People who are Party members, including the affiliates of the Young Pioneers and the Youth League, will also be destroyed alongside it.”
He wanted to know when that would happen. I responded, “Soon. If you have quit the CCP, you will not be impacted. You will not only be safe, but you can also keep your post.” He agreed to quit, but asked me not to tell anyone about his withdrawal.
