(Minghui.org) As more and more people learn the truth about Falun Gong and why it is being persecuted, many police officers no longer wish to be involved in arresting them.
Perhaps many now understand that they will reap what they sow.
I recently heard of instances of officers choosing not to arrest practitioners. Below are two such occurrences:
A Way Out
Several practitioners went to a remote town to distribute Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs and informational materials about Falun Gong. Unfortunately, two older female practitioners were arrested and taken to a police station. While on the way there, the women told the officers why the Chinese Communist Party persecutes practitioners.
They also explained that practitioners act out of goodwill, and that they gave out the DVDs to help restore China's five thousand years of civilization. They said that Shen Yun is regarded as one of the best shows in the world.
The practitioners also asked the police to stop persecuting innocent people—in hopes that the officers may avoid karmic retribution. They then gave the officers software to break through the Chinese Communist Party's Internet censorship and invited them to find out more about the true nature of the regime and its human rights abuses against Falun Gong.
At the station, an officer tried to take photos of the practitioners. One of the practitioners said, “You will not be able to take a picture.”
The officer replied, “If that happens, then you really are divine beings.” When he tried to take pictures of the practitioner, the camera would not work. He could only drop his head and throw the camera on a table.
During this time, some of the officers announced that their superior had no expectation that they use aggressive means on the two practitioners. Soon enough, the two women walked out of the police station unharmed.
A Wise Decision
Another practitioner recently went to a market to distribute some truth-clarification materials. She handed a flyer to a young man on a motorcycle who was wearing regular clothes. She wished him well and went on her way.
To her surprise, the man was a police officer. He blared the siren on his motorcycle and asked her, “Who do you think I am?”
“No matter who you are, I wish you well,” she told him. “Please remember that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You may then be blessed.”
When she left, the officer did not take any action to stop her.
