(Minghui.org) “You are in China, which is ruled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This means that you must follow the Party's directives. You cannot do anything that is not sanctioned by the Party. You will be punished when you interfere with the Party's interest,” captain Zhou from the appeals office told the families of arrested Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners Mr. Yang Riming, Mr. Wu Jinshui and Ms. Tao Yonghong were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division at the Maoming City Police Department in Guangdong Province in late May, 2015 and their homes were ransacked.
The families were not told if or what offenses the practitioners had committed. They got the run around from staff at the Domestic Security Division, when they asked for the release of the practitioners, and were directed to see the Domestic Security Division Captain Zhou Wen.
Mr. Yang's wife told Zhou that her husband's arrest resulted in great hardship and she wanted to know what crime her husband committed. Especially since everyone in the village praised him.
Ms. Tao, in her 80s, is alone at home. She also came with the other families to the appeals office, but was interrogated about her Falun Gong belief.
Mr. Wu's wife said that the agents rushed into her home and ransacked it without identifying themselves. She thought that they were bandits. Zhou told her that she must realize that they are not bandits and stressed that they had done nothing wrong. He suggested she complain to their superiors if she thought that they were in the wrong.
Arrests
Mr. Yang was arrested on the way to work by the Maoming patrol officers on the night of May 23, 2015. He was taken to the Guandu Police Station. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Dafa books.
About 10 officers from the Domestic Security Division arrived at Ms. Tao mother's home and claimed that they came to check the residential registration on the morning of May 27, 2015. They arrested Ms. Tao and ransacked her home. The officers also tried to arrest Ms. Tao's mother, but her family stopped them.
Mr. Wu was arrested outside his home by officers on the afternoon of May 27. The officers grabbed his key and unlocked his door. His wife thought it was her husband, and then she saw three strange men braking into her home. About 10 officers broke into Mr. Wu's home and ransacked it. They confiscated a DVD burner, desktop computer, laptop, color printer, about 4,000 yuan and much more.
