(Minghui.org) Ms. Qin Yongmei of Qingyuan County, Fushun City experienced heart problems during illegal detention. Her family demanded medical parole.
Ms. Qin, 63, was arrested for her belief in Falun Gong at midnight on April 24, 2015 by chief Peng Yue and officers from the Fushun Police Department.
Other practitioners also arrested were Zhang Shouhui, 50s, Xu Ping, 50, and Ms. Jin Fengzhi, in her 50s. They were taken to the Fushun City Detention Center.
Ms. Qin experienced acute symptoms of heart problems. Her family demanded that Peng, chief at the detention center, authorize her release for medical treatment.
Family members were not allowed to see Ms. Qin, or send her clothing and daily necessities.
Peng threatened to sentence Ms. Qin to prison. He said that the four practitioners' cases were already transferred to the Fumin Police Station.
Ms. Qin was arrested in 2003, and was tortured by police. She was taken to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp where she was imprisoned for two years.
