(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in San Diego held a rally and a candlelight vigil at La Jolla Cove on July 18, 2015, to commemorate fellow practitioners who died in persecution which has lasted 16 years as of July 20.
They also showed support for the recent wave of lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party who launched the persecution. California State Senator Joel Anderson sent a letter to the Falun Gong group, expressing his support of practitioners' work to end the persecution and recent lawsuits against Jiang.
