(Minghui.org) Three weeks before I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998, my son told me that he had broken up with his girlfriend. I was devastated, cried for more than three weeks and could not eat, drink or sleep. I just could not get over my misery, no matter how hard my husband tried to help me.

I worried day and night about whether my son would find a nice girl to marry. I also suffered from many ailments, such as diabetes, heart disease, and back pain. Although I was prescribed a variety of medications, my health never improved.

Exhausted, I finally decided to end my life by taking rat poison. However, the shop that sold it was closed, and I could not find any place else to buy it.

Healed by Master’s Video Lecture

As I was searching for another store, I ran into one of my relatives. He asked me what I was up to, and I burst into tears. A crowd gathered to see what was going on. My relative asked them to leave, that this was a family issue.

When I told him about my heartache, he said, “Don’t be sad anymore. Come to my home this evening, and I will teach you Falun Dafa. I guarantee that you will be able to sleep tonight, and within three months, you will have a daughter-in-law.”

When I returned home, I told my husband about my encounter, and he encouraged me to accept the invitation. I was apprehensive, because I was very weak and had had little to eat or drink for about three weeks. However, when I rode my bike to my relative’s home, I felt as if someone was pushing me.

His family was eating dinner and invited me to join them, but I declined because I had no appetite. My relative told me to just eat a little, which I did. Surprisingly, the more I ate, the more I wanted to eat.

After dinner, my relative started to teach me the Falun Dafa exercises. I had just learned a few movements when several other practitioners came to watch a video of one of Teacher Li Hongzhi’s Fa lectures. After everyone arrived, I was asked to sit in the middle of the group. Within a short time, I fell asleep and awoke at the end of the video.

At home, I thought that since I had slept for such a long time at my relative's house, I would not sleep that night. But I slept through the entire night and the following nights. I was no longer troubled by insomnia.

Master says:

“A few individuals may fall asleep and wake up as soon as I finish my lecture. Why is that? It is because their brains have illnesses that need to be treated. One will be unable to stand it if one’s brain is worked on. Therefore, one must be put into a state of anesthesia or become unconscious.” (Zhuan Falun)

On the third day, I threw away my medications. Although I am 70, I look only 50 or 60.

Prediction Came True

This was the beginning of my cultivating Falun Dafa. I got up early and went to the practice site to do the exercises. If I was lazy, I developed a headache. This was Teacher’s way of telling me to be diligent, and I knew that he watched over me.

On the way home after the exercises one day, another practitioner asked me if we could become in-laws. I told her that her daughter was better than my son. She did not take no for an answer and said that our children should have a date and decide for themselves.

Both mother and daughter liked my son. My worry was resolved, my son got married, and I have wonderful daughter-in-law. This happened a little more than 50 days after I obtained the Fa. My relative was correct in telling me that I would have a daughter-in-law in less than three months!

My son married, and everyone in our family gets along well. My husband and daughter-in-law also started to practice Dafa. We study the Fa together and encourage one another.

Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin

After 16 years of brutal persecution, hundreds of thousands of practitioners, as well as non-practitioners, from inside and outside of China have sued Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. This is a new phase in Fa-rectification in which we should clarify the facts about Dafa and the persecution to people more and more. I have also started legal proceedings against Jiang.

Shortly before I mailed my criminal complaint against Jiang, several people who said that they were from the community office came to my home. They asked me why I was suing Jiang Zemin. I responded that it was because Jiang started the persecution of Falun Dafa and suppresses good people. Then I told them about my cultivation in detail, especially how my family and I have benefited physically and psychologically.

They asked me to sign a document, and I told them, “For your own sake, signing these documents should be avoided.” They said okay and left.

When I was talking to them, they looked as if they seemed unaware of their surroundings. They did not see Master's photo in my living room or my copy of Zhuan Falun and several Dafa music players on the table. Thank you, Teacher, for your merciful protection!

The Fa-rectification is advancing by leap and bounds. We practitioners should be more diligent in doing the three things well and help more people understand the facts about Dafa and the persecution.
