Ms. Liu Aiping, 53, from the Tanggu District in the Binhai New Area was arrested by officers from the Xincun Police Station on the evening of May 13, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a Chiwei tablet, a DVD player, and Falun Gong books. Ms. Liu was taken to the Wuqing Detention Center.

3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cao Yanchun Detained
Ms. Cao Yanchun from the Laishan District was arrested on May 11, 2016. She was to be held in a detention center for 15 days.
4. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhu Weizhuo Detained
Mr. Zhu Weizhuo from Nanhu Town was arrested by officers from the Nanhu Town Police Station led by the village’s Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary on May 12, 2016. He was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin, the former CCP leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Zhu was to be held in the Rizhao City Detention Center for 15 days.

Mr. Huang Zhihui, his wife, their daughter, Mr. Zhang Ming, Ms. Tang Lihua, Mr. Zeng Xiaobo, Mr. Jiang Heping, Ms. Ding Yuerong, Mr. Luo Yaohui, and Mr. Wei Yuanqing were arrested on May 16, 2016.

Mr. Zhou Xianliang was arrested on May 13, 2016.
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Haixin Detained
Ms. Yu Haixin from the Jiangpanmingyuan Community in the Longtan District was arrested when she was away from home on the evening of May 12, 2016. The police ransacked her home that evening and confiscated a computer, DVDs and supplies. She is being held in the Jilin City Detention Center.
8. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Fangxia and Daughter Ms. Li Hui Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Song Fangxia and her daughter Ms. Li Hui, from Jiuqudian Village, the Jiuqu Neighborhood, Hedong District, were sentenced to prison on May 11, 2016 after they had been held in custody for nine months. Ms. Song was sentenced to four years and Ms. Li to one year in prison. Ms. Song has filed an appeal.
9. [Yulin City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Ms. Nong Shaoying and Ms. Lu Ruizhen Detained
Ms. Nong Shaoying and Ms. Lu Ruizhen from Luchuan County were arrested by officers from the Michang Town Police Station while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in town on May 13, 2016. They were held in the Luchuan County Detention Center.
10. [Yueyang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Ling and Ms. Chen Shujun Arrested
Ms. Wang Ling, from Sanfendian Village, Qianlianghu Town, the Junshan District, was arrested at home by officials from Qianlianghu Town on the morning of May 12, 2016. She was taken to the Xiuhuayuan Heights Brainwashing Center.
Li Xudong, director of the Qianlianghu Town Justice Agency, and Lei Lijun, security director the Yayuan Residential Community, went to Ms. Chen Shujun's home and arrested her at noon on May 12, 2016. Ms. Chen was taken to the Xiuhuayuan Heights Brainwashing Center. She escaped on the way there.

Ms. Chen Musheng, 70, was followed by the police while she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials in the Xiangzhou District. She was arrested on April 25, 2016. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Zhuhai Detention Center.

Ms. Yan Shufang was transferred to the Domestic Security Sub-Division of the Yanji City Police Department on May 13, 2016.

Ms. Li Yanfang and other practitioners from Dongxinzhuang Town in Xingcheng City were arrested and taken to a detention center by local police on May 12, 2016.

Ms. Wang Jing and her mother were arrested at the train station on the way to their hometown in Shandong on May 12, 2016. Ms. Wang was taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center for 10 days of detention. Her mother has returned home.

15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Yunpeng Detained
Mr. Xu Yunpeng from the Lushun area was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Shuishiying Police Station on the morning of May 17, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books. He is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.
16. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Meng Yuanlin and Wife Ms. Zhao Huicheng Arrested
Mr. Meng Yuanlin, 77, and his wife Ms. Zhao Huicheng, 70, from Mianzhu City, were arrested by officers from the Heqing Town Police Station while they were distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the morning of May 10, 2016.
Both were forced to sit in an iron chair for 10 hours. Their photos were forcibly taken. The officer went to their home and confiscated a notebook computer, a tablet, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, copies of Minghui Weekly, and other personal belongings.
The couple were released after the police extorted 50,000 yuan in cash from their family.

Mr. Li, the second character of whose given name is Xun, from Anren County, was arrested and taken to the Anren County Police Department by members of the 610 Office within the Anren County Domestic Security Division on May 12, 2016. The 610 Office members confiscated a notebook computer. Mr. Li is being held in a detention center.

Ms. Cheng Guohui and Ms. Qin Xiuqing, 50, were arrested at noon on May 11, 2016 by officers from the Xiguan Township Police Station, who took orders from police station director Liu Huiquan, while the two practitioners were talking to people about Falun Gong in Luojiatun Village in Xiguan Township. Both were taken to the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Wu Yuping, Ms. Wang Ying, and Ms. Sun Xiulan were arrested by police officers who were staked out where they were hanging Falun Gong informational banners on May 13, 2016. Their homes were ransacked. They are being held in the Tiexi Detention Center for 15 days of detention.
29. [Tianjin] Twelve Practitioners Arrested
Twelve practitioners from the Beichen District were arrested while they were hanging banners that read “Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day” on the evening of May 12, 2016.
Mr. Fang Keshan, Ms. Zhang Shulan, and Mr. Wang Hui were taken to the Nankai Police Department. Mr. Hou Huilin was taken to the Xiazhuzhuang Police Station. Ms. Wang Jingfen was taken to the Baoding Detention Center.
Seven other practitioners' whereabouts are unknown: Ms. Niu Yueqing, Mr. Lan Deman, Mr. Li Jianchun, Mr. Yang Tinglian, Ms. Wang Fengping, Mr. Xu Siliang, and a female practitioner known as Elder Sister Yuan.

Eighteen practitioners were arrested by the local police while they were studying Falun Gong teachings in a practitioner's home on May 12, 2016. Many of them were released the following day. Mr. Huang Dishu and Mr. Tang Chaoxun were taken to the Zizhong Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Bu Jingju from Nanshiwu Village in Duozhuang Town was arrested by officers from the Duozhuang Police Station on May 12, 2016. He was detained for 10 days.

Ms. Liu Shufan was arrested by officers from the Huanggu District Domestic Security Division on the morning of May 13, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and a printer.

Ms. Sun Peijuan, Ms. Guo Jianling, Ms. Luan Cuiping, Ms. Shi Dongfeng, Ms. Tang Jinfang, and Ms. Diao Chunxiang from Xialiujia Village in Fushan Town were arrested on the evening of May 11, 2016. They were taken to a detention center.

Ms. Yu Haixin and Ms. Qi Guizhen were arrested by officers from the Longtan Police Station on the morning of May 13, 2016. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, printers, and DVD burners. Their neighbor Ms. Li Chunqing was also arrested. A detention center refused to admit Ms. Qi because of her high blood pressure. She returned home that night.
