(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 were illegally arrested.

Elderly Ms. He Ai'er was arrested and taken to the Caoshi Police Station on the morning of March 23, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong.

2. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Fu Xiuqin and Ms. Peng Cui'e Harassed

Chen Guozhi, a Guangming Road residential police officer, and three other men went to Ms. Fu Xiuqin's home and harassed her on the morning of March 8, 2017. They questioned her, ransacked her home and videotaped it. They confiscated two photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a copy of Zhuan Falun, a copy of Hong Yin (IV), a copy of Minghui Weekly and a copy of Zhengjian Weekly.

Afterwards, they went to Ms. Peng Cui'e's home and harassed her.

3. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ye Weiying Arrested

Ms. Ye Weiying was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on February 28, 2017. She was arrested. She was coerced and enticed into signing paperwork and had her photo and fingerprints taken. The officers took video recordings of the entire proceedings.

4. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Xiaoyan, Ms. Zhang Fengxian and Ms. Pan Xiuyun were arrested on the afternoon of March 22, 2017. Ms. Li is held in the Huludao City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Pan are held in the Huludao City Lockup Center.

5. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Ze Detained

The authorities were monitoring Mr. Wang Ze when he was disseminating Falun Gong facts over the Internet. He was arrested at home by three officers from the Hangzhoudao Police Station of Tanggu District on March 7, 2017. The officers took some personal items. He was taken to the Wuqing Detention Center the following day, where he has been held since.

6. [Shanghai] Ms. Hu Lingzhen Detained

Ms. Hu Lingzhen was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Huacao Police Station on the afternoon of March 20, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials and talking to people about Falun Gong. She is held in the Minhang Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

7. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Jinliang Arrested

Mr. Liu Jinliang, in his 60s, from Diaojialing Village, Jiaoxi Town, was reported on March 22, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was arrested, and his home was ransacked.

8. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhu Fengzhen Detained

Ms. Zhu Fengzhen was arrested and taken to the Xi'an City Detention Center on March 22, 2017.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Shuping Detained

Ms. Liu Shuping from Daanshe Village, Xinhua District, was arrested and taken to the Dubei Police Station on the afternoon of March 15, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked that evening, and she was taken to the Administrative Detention Center for 14 days of detention.

10. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Zirong and Ms. Chen Cuizhen Arrested

Ms. Li Zirong and Ms. Chen Cuizhen were arrested on March 22, 2017. Their whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xie Junxiao Taken to Jidong Prison

Mr. Xie Junxiao from Luancheng District was arrested at the Shijiazhuang Train Station by officers from the Train Station Police Station when he used his ID card to buy a ticket on March 19, 2017. He was brought back by officers from the Luancheng District Police Department, and taken to the Luancheng District Detention Center. He was taken to Jidong Prison in Tangshan City on March 22.

12. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Xiuju Arrested

Ms. Yin Xiuju, 65, from Qingdao Development Zone, was arrested by officers from the Changjianglu Police Station on the morning of March 21, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Under her family's insistence, she was released after 8:00 p.m. that night.

13. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hao Shengqiao Detained

Ms. Hao Shengqiao was arrested at the Hailin City Post Office when she mailed letters on March 22, 2017 by officers from the Hailin City Police Department and the Hailin Forestry Bureau Police Station. She was taken to the police station and later to the Hailin City Domestic Security Division. She is held in the Mudanjiang City No. 2 Detention Center. Her non-practitioner husband was also arrested and later released. Their home was ransacked.

Ms. Liu Chunxia and her mother were arrested on March 21, 2017. Their home was ransacked. The officers then put up a notice blocking anyone from entering their home. Ms. Liu is held in the Changlepo Detention Center. Her mother was taken to a brainwashing center.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Bilin Arrested

Ms. Wu Bilin was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of March 23, 2017. She was arrested by officers from the Jiang'an District Police Department and the Laodongjie Police Station. The officers ransacked her home.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Cao Yi and Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Cao Yi and other practitioners were arrested around March 17, 2017.

17. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ling Xiu Detained

Ms. Ling Xiu from Poxin Town, Dianbai District, was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on a train on March 16, 2017. She was arrested by railway police officers. She was subsequently placed under criminal detention by the Dianbai District Domestic Security Division. She is held in the Maoming City No. 1 Detention Center.

18. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Ying Arrested

Ms. Wang Ying from Xinji Town, Changli County, was arrested by officers from the Huangdianzhuang Police Station on the morning of March 23, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Gao Jieli, head of the Changli County Domestic Security Division, and other officers ransacked Ms. Wang's home that afternoon.

19. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Fengyan Detained

Ms. Ma Fengyan from Hongmei Town was arrested at the checkpoint of the Meihekou Train Station for carrying Falun Gong books in her bag on March 14, 2017. Her husband was with her at the time. She was transferred back to the local police station that day. Ba Wei, deputy director of the Hongmei Town Police Station, ransacked Ms. Ma's home and confiscated some of her Falun Gong books. Ms. Ma was placed under administrative detention for 10 days.

20. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ma Deqin Arrested

Ms. Ma Deqin was brought to the Yuquan Town Government by a staff member of the Yuquan Town Government on the morning of March 21, 2017 for distributing Falun Gong materials. A police car was called in to take her to the local police station, where she was shackled in an iron chair. She was photographed. She was released at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon.

21. [Beijing] Ms. Ma Haifang Given an Eighteen-Month Prison Term

Ms. Ma Haifeng was sentenced to one year and six months in prison.

22. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Lin Shuqing, Ms. Wu Yueju, Ms. Jin Lichun, and Ms. Zhang Shuyun were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong in Paotai Town, Wafangdian City, on March 13, 2017. They are held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

23. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Xuejin Taken Into Custody

Mr. Xu Xuejin was arrested on November 7, 2016. He has been held in custody since then.

24. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Qingxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Qingxiang was again arrested on March 17, 2017 when she talked to people about Falun Gong. This is the ninth time she has been arrested.

25. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Hao Detained

Mr. Zhang Hao from Liquan County was arrested by officers from the Liquan County Police Department's Domestic Security Division on March 17, 2017. He is held in the Liquan County Detention Center.

27. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Fan Longsheng Arrested; Mr. Chang An Taken to Prison

Mr. Fan Longsheng from Dongshan District was arrested by Jiansanjiang Reclamation police and officers from the Xinyi Police Station on March 18, 2017.

Mr. Chang An was taken to the Hulan Prison. He is in a hospital as a result of abuse in prison.

28. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Tao Yuhua and Ms. Yang Sanping Arrested

Officers from the Queshan Police Department, Zhumadian City, broke into Ms. Tao Yuhua's home and arrested her on the morning of March 16, 2017. Her non-practitioner daughter, her three-year old triplets and Ms. Yang Sanping (a nanny) were also arrested. Her daughter and three children were released that afternoon. Ms. Tao and Ms. Yang's whereabouts are unknown.
