(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhao Hongwei and Ms. Liu Xiurong, both residents of Zouping County, were arrested on March 16, 2017 after being reported for talking to people about the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline based on the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
While Ms. Liu was released later that day, the police detained Ms. Zhao for more than one month. They submitted Ms. Zhao’s case to Zouping County Procuratorate and requested she be prosecuted. The Procuratorate, however, declined to issue a formal arrest warrant due to lack of evidence.
Ms. Zhao was set free on April 22.
