(Minghui.org) My wife and I boarded a bus and immediately gave our seats to two elderly people. We passed out Falun Gong amulets with information about the practice. We wanted people to learn the facts about Falun Gong, as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has banned it and they have spread a lot of negative information about this cultivation practice through the government-owned media.
I continued to hand out amulets to passengers. One man appeared hostile and wanted to stand up. “Falun Gong,” the man looked at the amulet that I handed him, and then stared at me. The air on the bus became tense.
He asked, “Don't you know that the government has banned Falun Gong?”
“The ban is wrong,” I replied, “Falun Gong is good. The truth will be made public one day. It is good for you if you understand it.”
He still looked doubtful. I said, “Do you know that the world is against the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong? Countries and international organizations are condemning the CCP's persecution.”
Retribution for Doing Harm to Falun Gong
I then told this man about the retribution people faced who committed crimes during the Cultural Revolution.
“The head of the police,” I said, “once a powerful figure, committed suicide. Seventeen military cadres and 793 police officers who tortured people were secretly killed at a remote site. Their family members only received a notice saying that they “died while on duty.”
I continued, “Those who persecuted Falun Gong will face severe punishment, worse than those punished for the crimes they committed during the Cultural Revolution.”
He was about to say something, but the elderly man whom I gave my seat said, “Falun Gong is truly good! One of my neighbors suffered from a lot of illnesses and had difficulties walking. After practicing Falun Gong, she recovered from her illnesses and walks like a young person. She used to quarrel with others, but now she is kind to everyone. She helps others and does a lot of charity work.”
Others on the bus also started talking about how good Falun Gong is. Some criticized the government for persecuting it. People who had not gotten an amulet asked for one.
That man was silent, with his face turning red and his head lowered, as if he felt guilty for arousing public anger.
When he was about to get off the bus, I reminded him, “Whatever job you have, please do not persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong is a spiritual practice Please don't set yourself up for punishment when the CCP is no longer in power.”
He seemed to understand, as he nodded in agreement on his way off the bus.
