(Minghui.org) This year's World Falun Dafa Day is in a little over three months. To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, the Minghui editorial board seeks to publish experience sharing articles from Western Dafa practitioners.
Falun Dafa is practiced around the world. People of many ethnicities and of all ages have become Dafa practitioners. All Dafa practitioners follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to improve their character and health while undertaking various efforts to stop the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
To assist Western practitioners to have broader experience sharing in cultivation and in doing the three things that Master asked us to do in Fa-rectification, and to help people in all circles learn more about the cultivation of practitioners from various ethnic backgrounds, the Minghui editorial board is calling especially for submissions from Western practitioners about their practice of Dafa. This includes experience sharing articles written by Western practitioners themselves as well as interviews of Western practitioners by Chinese practitioners.
The content of these articles should include (but not be limited to) Western practitioners' experiences in beginning to practice Dafa, studying the Fa, cultivating, looking within, improving xinxing, and elevating one's mind and body through participation in truth-clarification projects. The content should be specific and substantive, the events clear and prominent, avoiding vague descriptions. The logic and narrative should flow naturally and avoid the influence of Party culture.
Selected articles will first be posted on Minghui.org in Chinese, followed by original articles and translated versions on other-language Minghui websites. When submitting, it is best to include a Chinese translation. If there is no Chinese translation included with the submission, one should indicate the language of the submitted article. Minghui editorial staff will arrange to have such articles translated.
When submitting, please specify the full name of the practitioner, as well as his or her telephone number and email address. When posted, based on the situation of the parties, some articles will be published with full names or first names. If an alias is preferred, please indicate the alias to be used with the submission.
The target audience for the articles will be practitioners as well as other readers, including those who do not know much about Falun Dafa. Submissions should take the non-practitioner audience into account and try not to use only specialized vocabulary and abbreviations that Dafa practitioners can understand.
Submission methods and precautions:
1. Open for submissions: February 1, 2018 to April 1, 2018.
2. This call for articles targets only Dafa practitioners outside of China.
3. Please indicate in the subject line “Western article call | the language used” when submitting so the editorial department can separate them from other messages.
4. Please email submissions to [email protected]
