1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Xianggen Taken to Prison

Mr. Yu Xianggen, 67, from the Qingdao Development Zone, was recently sentenced to a seven-year prison term. He was taken to the Shandong Province Prison.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Zhen Arrested

Ms. Wang Zhen, 76, was arrested by officers from the Ershilipu Police Station on the evening of October 23, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

3. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Zhang Kang and Her Mother Ms. Ren Huiping Detained

Ms. Zhang Kang and her mother Ms. Ren Huiping were arrested on the evening of October 23, 2019. Their home was ransacked. They are being held in the Hongta District Detention Center.

4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Huizhen Detained

Ms. Zhang Huizhen, 58, from Meiguiyuan Residential Community, Bayi Garden Community, was arrested at home on October 23, 2019. The police confiscated her Falun Dafa books, printed materials, cash, cell phone, and computer.

Ms. Zhang is being held in the Duoluokou No. 1 Detention Center, and her family has not been allowed to visit her.

5. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Renlan Detained

Ms. Liu Renlan was reported to the authorities on October 29, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested, and was held in the Tieling City Detention Center for ten days.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yuansheng Facing Trial

Mr. Liu Yuansheng was due to be tried by the Shenhe District Court on the morning of November 7, 2019.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xinhua Detained; Ms. Zhang Lianyu Facing Trial

Ms. Wang Xinhua from Dongfeng Township, Chaoyang District, was arrested on the morning of October 7, 2019, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Pingfang Township Police Station. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Dafa books and printed materials were confiscated. Ms. Wang was taken to the Chaoyang District Detention Center for 14 days.

Ms. Zhang Lianyu from the Yanqing District is due to be tried by the Yanqing District Court on November 14.

8. [Shanghai] Mr. Lu Gentao Detained

Mr. Lu Gentao from the Pudong New Area was arrested on October 23, 2019. He is being held in the Pudong New Area Detention Center.

9. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Qiu Xinfang Detained

Ms. Qiu Xinfang was recently arrested by officers from the Tongbai County Domestic Security Division, Nanyang City, who were staked out there. She was taken to the Nanyang Detention Center.

10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cao Yuehong and Ms. Shi Xueran Detained

Ms. Cao Yuehong and Ms. Shi Xueran from Hou Village, Zhaoba Township, Shenze County, were arrested on October 25, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners were held in the Zhengding County Detention Center for 15 days.
