(Minghui.org) In order to retain the cultivating state we had when we first began practicing Falun Dafa, I believe we need to focus on how we study the Fa. Our attitude should be like how it was when we first began practicing. We should read Dafa books carefully, sentence by sentence, to understand the meaning, while being humble and respectful. We should also cultivate ourselves and improve our xinxing. Only then will the Fa principles reveal themselves and allow us to truly benefit.
After reading the Fa in this way, I can now understand it more deeply, and have been able to memorize the book. In the past, I thought I had a good understanding of the Fa, but when I was reading it my mind wandered. Studying the Fa had become a formality, and I read through it quickly. In fact, I was not cherishing the Fa, and so the principles were shown to me less and less.
By always maintaining a humble and respectful attitude when reading any of Master's Fa, and continuing to solidly cultivate our hearts, will we be able to see higher Fa principles.
