(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner who works as a blasting specialist in a mine. In the course of my work, I have encountered many close calls that could have taken my life. But every time a potential disaster occurred, the outcome always turned out positive. I attribute this to the protection a Dafa practitioner receives based on the teachings contained in Dafa’s main book, Zhuan Falun.
I would like to share a couple of experiences that occurred while working in the mine.
One occurred when we were preparing many individual banks of explosives for a large blast. We had no shock detonation tube available and had no choice but to use an electric detonator, which is far less reliable. Sure enough, some of the banks did not detonate as they should have. Another worker and I went to take a look, to determine why they had not gone off.
Another of my colleagues was interested in the detonator controller and wanted to help. Without knowing what he was doing, he switched it to the detonation position, but this time it worked. We were very close to the explosion and could have been killed. I was not afraid when the blast went off, but I was very scared afterward. I immediately brought my hands together and thanked Master for saving our lives.
In another incident, after digging a deep blast hole in the bottom of a mine, some equipment was being hauled hundreds of meters out of the hole to the top of the shaft. A large compressor was on its way up when the tow hook suddenly broke. The machine then fell, tumbling back toward the bottom of the mine. There was an excavator, mine cars, and men still at work in the hole, so the potential of a fatal accident was very real.
I spontaneously shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Luckily, the compressor got hung up on a mound of earth at the side of the track leading down to the work area. This mound slowed down the falling compressor just enough. When it reached the bottom of the mine, it came to a stop between an excavator and a mine car. There was no collision, and no one was hurt. The driver of the mine car said, with his thumbs up, “We got a big blessing this time.” I smiled and said to him, “Yes! Thank’s to Falun Dafa's Master.”
Because I cultivate Falun Dafa and always think about others, I naturally have Master's Li’s blessing. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Master and Dafa for always watching over me and everyone I work with.
