(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in France raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 20-year-long campaign of persecution on August 5 and August 7, 2019. They went to local markets in Poligny and Bourg-en-Bresse in the east of France to introduce Falun Gong to the public and to call for help to end the CCP’s persecution.
Many local people signed the practitioners' petition, which protested the persecution, after hearing how Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted in China, including being subjected to state-sanctioned live organ harvesting.

Retired Teacher Wants to Help with Signature Collection
Perilli is a retired physical education teacher. She spoke with Falun Gong practitioners in the Bourg-en-Bresse market and was upset after hearing about what has been happening in China. After signing the practitioners' petition, she spoke out against the CCP’s live organ harvesting: “This is about human rights. It is catastrophic spiritually and physically.”
“I want to help with the signature collection,” she said. “I will tell our city council members and mayor to let people know this.”
She also encouraged practitioners to continue their efforts, saying, “Be courageous!”

Training Instructor Calls on People Everywhere to Work Together to Stop the Persecution
Catherine is a training instructor who knows about the persecution. “This (persecution) is intolerable, unacceptable, and unforgivable,” she said. “It is totalitarian and a form of state terrorism. A peaceful practice like Falun Gong should not be persecuted under any excuse. People all over the world should work together to stop the persecution.”
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are Falun Gong’s principles. Catherine said these values are fundamental values for human beings.
