(Minghui.org) I recently read Teachings From a Tour of North America several times. In the lecture, Master explained to us why we need to do the three things well, the three categories of Dafa disciples and what are Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples.
Master also talked about the speed of Fa-rectification, the reason for having democracy in the human world, and China as the main stage of the unprecedented historic play.
From studying the teachings, I enlightened that our responsibilities and ultimate purpose is to save people, especially those “precious Chinese people” inside China. Had Trump won his re-election, the best outcome probably would be the disintegration of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in his second term. Although the elimination of the CCP would certainly create a good social environment for us to save people, the CCP's demise is still different from saving more people. I understand that eliminating the CCP isn’t our purpose, but saving more people is our responsibility and mission.
Indeed, the U.S. election has changed many of my notions. I used to think that democracy would be indispensable for modern society. But the U.S. election made me realize that without morality as the foundation, democracy is only a castle made of sand.
From the Fa’s teaching, we also know that cultivators have different understandings of time and space than ordinary people. Different dimensions correspond to different times. Time in other dimensions may be well different from that in the human world. My point is that we don’t need to worry about the end time for Fa-rectification and we should just focus our attention on doing the three things well.
The above are some of my personal understandings. I welcome fellow practitioners to point out anything improper.
