(Minghui.org) I am an elderly woman living in a rural area. A police officer called my daughter-in-law and asked her about my practicing Falun Dafa on the afternoon of September 14, 2022. The next day as I was about to prepare dinner there was a knock at my door. I saw three uniformed police officers outside – two women and one man.
As I opened the door, the man tried to take a picture of me with his cell phone. I said, “You are not allowed to take my picture without my permission. Where are you from and what do you want? Do you have any identification? I cannot let you in.” I asked if one of them had called my daughter-in-law and informed them that I was a legal citizen and that they were interfering with me.
One of the female officers said, “We are police officers, and are here to visit you.” They entered my house and said they would like to check out my DVDs. One of them picked up some Dafa books and a copy of experience-sharing articles that I wrote. I pointed at my experience sharing, saying “Take that with you and read it, then you will understand why I will not give up my practice. Is there anything wrong with believing in the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? Anything wrong with being a good person?”
The man took Master’s photo from my closet. I asked him to give it back, “Master Li has saved my life, and that of my family. Master is saving all people in the world. I can’t let you do this.” One of the women saw this and called their supervisor. The supervisor responded, “Give it back to her.”
They went to the living room as the women took notes. She said, “Falun Dafa is a ‘cult,’ don’t go out.”
I said, “It is not. Falun Dafa is legal in China. The constitution says a citizen has freedom of belief and speech. Jiang Zemin acted out of jealousy, not the law. The police department and the state department publish a list of cults and Falun Dafa is never on it. We all know this is just another one of the Party's political campaigns, like the Cultural Revolution.
"However, when the cultural revolution was over, those who took the lead in participating were secretly executed in Yunnan. There will be a day when the persecution of Falun Dafa ends. It is heaven’s law that those who do good things will be rewarded and those who do bad things will be punished. Don't have any regrets. The reason why I don’t sign your document is also for your benefit in the future, as there won’t be evidence that you have persecuted Falun Dafa.”
One of the women said it was time to leave. When I bid them goodbye, I said, “I hope you all are healthy and avoid the pandemic and all disasters.”
They were in my home for an hour in total. Protected and strengthened by Master, I was safe. Thank you, Master.
