(Minghui.org) From Master’s teachings, I realize that practitioners have great responsibilities. But how do we do well in saving people?
I had just begun practicing when my wife was detained in a forced labor camp. There were no local practitioners to help me. So, I started to read the teachings a lot and also memorized Hong Yin. The Fa constantly enlightened me. I understood how to take the next step. I wanted to go out to clarify the truth and save people, walk my path of cultivation well, and live up to my mission.
Most people nowadays judge others by their appearance. In order to clarify the truth better, I try to give people a good first impression by dressing neatly, greeting people with a smile, and being courteous. I try to explain things as clearly as I can so that each person I talk with will truly understand and accept the truth. I know that everyone in the world was Master’s relative at some point in history, so I want to save everyone.
I have clarified the truth in markets, infarm fields, in villages, and on the streets. I talk to everyone I encounter and try not to miss anyone. I ride my motorcycle and travel as far as 15 miles. Sometimes I can help more than 30 people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
I realized that in order to do a good job of clarifying the truth and saving people, we must study the Fa well. Whether we can save someone is not due to how well we can talk; it is the Fa that really saves people. When we study the Fa well, no matter what situation, the Fa will appear in our minds and give us wisdom.
“I’ll Donate Money to Your Group”
I clarified the truth to an elderly lady at the market. I first greeted her, “Hello Ma’am, are you buying vegetables?” She said, “Yes. Then I need to make lunch and take care of the kids. It seems like older people like us have a lot to do these days.” I said, “So true. Nowadays, the children are taken care of by grandparents, who spend their money and do all the hard work: cooking, laundry, taking the children to school, everything. We have to work hard from morning to night. In the past, the young ones would take care of the elderly parents. But now it’s the opposite, they wake up late and expect dinner to be ready when they come home from work. They don’t even take care of their own children.” She said, “Exactly, the world has changed.” I told her that this was all because the CCP destroyed traditional values, and Falun Dafa is here to revive mankind’s traditional culture and save people. I told her a few stories about Falun Dafa and how it teaches people to be good and that good deeds are rewarded. She listened attentively and agreed with what I said. She then happily withdrew from the CCP’s affiliated organizations.
When I gave her some brochures, she asked me who paid for them. I said, “Practitioners use their savings to print them.” She was very moved and said, “You have all worked so hard to come out and save people, and you have to pay for the printing yourself? I’ll donate some money to you!” I said, “I can’t take your money but thank you so much for your kindness. Your thought to support Dafa is very precious. Heaven is watching everything! You and your family will be blessed!”
She said that her husband also believes that Dafa is good and withdrew from the CCP. He works in the bank and doesn’t accept bribes. I said, “That is really amazing! In today’s China, how many officials are not corrupt? Your family surely will peacefully survive the catastrophes.” She said happily, “Thank you for your kind words! It’s indeed true that everything in my family goes very smoothly.”
The Bricklayer Finally Understood the Truth
I met a bricklayer in the market. When I clarified the truth to him, he bluntly asked me, “How much will you pay me? I don’t believe in anything. I only believe in money.” He also said some very bad things about Dafa. I didn’t have any negative feelings about him. I knew that he was deceived by the CCP’s lies, and I calmly and slowly clarified the truth to him for more than half an hour. But he still didn’t change his mind. In my heart I didn’t give up. I thought that if I could meet him in the future, I would talk to him again.
A few days later, I indeed met him again. I seized the opportunity to talk to him, but he didn’t want to talk and left in a hurry. I thought to myself, if I have another chance to meet him again, I would definitely talk to him. Sure enough, I met him for the third time. I thought to myself, “This is a predestined person, and I must save him.” I silently recited Master’s poem,
“… Dafa disciples walk the world, compassionate they areWith kind thoughts, saving people, eliminating the evil specter ...” (“Stirred by Reflection” Hong Yin IV)
I asked Master to help me. I greeted the man with a smile, “We really have a predestined relationship! We have met three times. Let’s have a good chat today.” This time he wasn’t in a hurry and didn’t leave. I said, “You have said that Falun Dafa won’t win the battle. But Falun Dafa is not fighting for power or profit. Those are all lies made up by the CCP in order to persecute Falun Dafa. They are lying to deceive people. As old as you are, you’ve seen everything that the CCP did. Think about it’s many political movements.
The CCP first spread rumors, lies, incites hatred, and then ‘justifiably’ suppresses its targets. Falun Dafa teaches people to value virtue and be kind. Money is not everything; being moral is most important. People without morality won’t have anything in their future lives, but with virtue, they may become high officials and be wealthy. Falun Dafa is not competing with the CCP for power. It is here to save people. Falun Dafa does not force anyone to accept anything. It is up to each individual to believe what we say or not.”
I told him many stories from history about people believing in the divine and then receiving blessings. In the end, I told him very seriously, “Many things in your mind were purposely instilled by the wicked CCP. You are being deceived by them. Please wake up!”
In the end, he finally understood the truth and used his real name to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Through this, I understood that as long as we have a pure heart to truly save people and don’t easily give up, more people will be saved and that is exactly what Master wants.
Not Pursuing Numbers or Speed
We must constantly think about how to talk to different types of people so they can accept the truth. We also can’t pursue the numbers or speed. We have to let people truly understand the truth and accept it in their hearts.
I met a retired government official and clarified the truth to him. He didn’t say anything. I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and said, “When you get a chance, take a look at this book. Many famous people have called this a miraculous book. See if what it says makes sense to you.” He took it. I didn’t say anything else.
When I met him again, I asked him, “Have you read that book? What do you think?” He said, “What it says is true, and there are even more things that it doesn’t talk about. The CCP just has too many scandals.” I said, “In history, dynasties came and went. The people in power always want their rule to continue forever, but that never happens because it is not determined by human beings. We must respect heaven’s will. Heaven will destroy the CCP and that is about to happen. People can only be safe when they withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.” He understood the facts and happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
People Speak Up For Dafa
A man in our town is a talented artist. After I clarified the truth to him, he understood and withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He really felt bad after he understood how practitioners were persecuted by the CCP. He was taking a train for a business trip, and a passenger was found out by the police to be a Falun Dafa practitioner. When one of the officers began brutally beating the practitioner, he stood up and shouted, “What law did he violate that allows you to beat him like that? Do you think this country has no laws? Can you just beat people as you like?!” The police officer immediately stopped.
Helping People Withdraw From the CCP While Detained
I was looking after my grandson in another town. When I went out to clarify the truth, I was reported, arrested, and detained for 15 days. The detention center was very large and many people were incarcerated there. No matter where I am, I know I must save people.
People kept coming in and going out of my cell, and I talked to all of them. I encouraged them to correct their mistakes and become better people. I sincerely told them that as long as they believe in Dafa and become better people, they will definitely have a bright future. They all respected and liked me. Some of them asked for my phone number and told me that they wanted me to show them how to practice Falun Dafa.
I was illegally detained for 15 days, and I talked to everyone I came in contact with. More than 50 people withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I had no paper or pen, so I memorized all their names. I wrote them down as soon as I got home. This would be impossible for me to do before I practiced Dafa, because my memory was very poor. But after practicing Dafa, my health improved tremendously and my memory became much better. I am so grateful to Master from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for giving me wisdom and capabilities.
No matter how much time is left, I will continue to fulfill my mission. I will strive to save as many people as possible, so as to be worthy of the honor and title bestowed on us by Master.
