1. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Li Ping Detained Over Three Months

Ms. Li Ping from the Chaisang District was arrested by officers from the Balihu Police Department and the Chaisang District on November 20, 2021, and has since been held in the Jiujiang City Detention Center. Her family brought her many daily necessities, but she never received any of them. Her family said she would likely be sentenced.

When her mother hired a defense attorney from Beijing to defend her, she was threatened by the police and others.

2. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Ni Xiangzhen in Police Custody

Ms. Ni Xiangzhen was arrested by officers from the local police station on February 25, 2022, after someone reported her when she used paper currency with Falun Gong messages printed on it She is now in police custody.

3. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xia Missing

Ms. Zhang Xia is missing. It is believed that she was arrested.

4. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Sujuan and Ms. Xue Shuzhen Arrested

Ms. Wang Sujuan and Ms. Xue Shuzhen of Yangzhai Village were arrested by Domestic Security Division officers on March 2, 2022, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. Their Falun Gong books and pictures of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. In the Domestic Security Division, the officers tried to pressure them to tell the source of their Falun Gong materials and have them criticize Falun Gong’s founder. Both practitioners refused. They were forced to have physical exams that cost 600 yuan each. The officers extorted 1,000 yuan from each of them and then released them after 7:00 p.m.

5. [Beijing] Mr. Tan Shouli and Ms. Liu Arrested

Mr. Tan Shouli and Ms. Liu were arrested in a rental house in the Shunyi District around 1:00 p.m. on March 6, 2022, after the owner reported them to police.

6. [Shanghai] Mr. Liu Shunming and His Wife Harassed

Mr. Liu Shunming is on the security staff of the Jingnan Neighborhood, Maqiao Town, Minhang District. He is being illegally monitored and tracked because of the Paralympic Games and the “two meetings” (the National People’s Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference). His wife received harassing calls from the Maqiao Police Station, the Comprehensive Management office of town fudicial office, the neighborhood committee, and the property management of their neighborhood. She is stressed out and terrified.
