(Minghui.org) When the COVID pandemic started, I could no longer clarify the truth at tourist attractions, so I joined the platform to phone people in China. In July 2021, I joined the Quick Talk team, and its simple and fast characters allowed me to really focus on clarifying the truth. When people are able to understand the truth and happily agree to withdraw from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), I am very happy for them.
It’s been more than a year since I joined the Quick Talk team and during this time, I helped over 10,000 people withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations. The encouraging results inspire me to save more people, help me become more confident and work harder. Thank you, Master, for bringing so many predestined people to come and hear the truth. People are truly awakening.
The Family Environment Reminds Me to Look Inward
The other practitioners often ask me, “You make phone calls all day long. Do you not need to do housework? Doesn’t your throat get tired?”
The Quick Talk software is fast, simple, and efficient. After the software is connected, the calls begin. As soon as one call ends, the next one is immediately made. I am on it for 6-8 hours. As a teacher, I was trained in vocalization and my throat doesn’t get tired.
As for doing housework, in the past, I had lots of human attachments and often complained that my husband didn’t help around the house. When I read the last sentence in Master’s poem “Who’s Right, Who’s Wrong,”
“...“He’s right, And I’m wrong,” What’s to dispute?” (Hong Yin III)
I felt that this was directed at me and I was moved to tears. I realized that it was my fault and I didn’t do well. I had been looking outward and had a mentality of resentment, which caused tension with my husband. The principles of Dafa changed my stubborn nature and I understood that I was wrong. Even if someone really treated me badly, it would be because of my karma and it was an opportunity to help me improve my xinxing. In that case, shouldn’t I be able to endure it? Moreover, just as Master explained in Zhuan Falun, I would be gaining four things from it. Then what was there to complain about? Shouldn’t I be thanking him? After my mindset changed, I felt calm and relaxed. I changed from complaining to being grateful. This is the power of the Fa. I am truly grateful to Master and Dafa.
I started to memorize the Fa every day four years ago. This helped me to always looking inward and I became more gentle. In the past, when I meditated I thought about how many minutes I still had left. But now I can quickly enter a tranquil state and that feeling is wonderful. Memorizing the Fa suppresses my desires, and it helps me become much more calm as my mind is empty. I also found that as long as I am diligent and immerse myself in the Fa, I will have the wisdom to break through various tribulations caused by emotions in my family relationships. My husband saw that I was devoting myself to making phone calls, and trying to help people. He became very considerate, and often brought me fruits and snacks. He even began helping around the house.
On Chinese New Year’s Eve last year, I was on duty on the phone call platform. I felt that the best gift I could give Master was to save more people. I managed to help more than 60 people withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations that day. I didn’t have time to make dumplings. We had hotpot instead, and the whole family had a great time.
Following People’s Attachments When Clarifying the Truth
One of the difficulties of clarifying the truth is addressing people’s various misunderstandings about Falun Dafa. When we are able to follow along with their attachments, we can make breakthroughs and they will listen.
I called a man who listened to our phone calls many times in the past. I asked him if he was a CCP member, and told him that he would not be held accountable for its crimes if he withdrew, and was no longer a Party member. He suddenly got very angry. He swore and yelled at me and said he was a CCP member. I didn’t expect him to swear, and I immediately reminded myself to not be moved. I then calmly told him that I was contacting him for his own safety, and that I wasn’t asking him to do anything other than withdraw from the CCP. He continued swearing at me.
I tried to stabilize the conversation and said, “I understand your feelings. You are a rational person and have your own point of view. I respect people who think independently. I am calling you to tell you that withdrawing from the CCP will keep you safe. All you need to do is to say yes.” He still kept saying some very obscene and cruel words.
I suddenly remembered a story a fellow practitioner told me, which I told him so he would know I understood why he was angry. “I can see that you are not in a good mood as you are swearing a lot. I understand that in China many people feel suffocated under communism and are angry. I read about a family who lived in a house for generations, but then the government suddenly wanted their land. They did not communicate with the family and demolished their home in the middle of the night. The head of the house committed suicide. His relatives all knew that it was useless to appeal, and anyone who tried to appeal would be arrested. People in China have no place to vent their anger. So when we phone them, out of frustration, they swear at us.”
He suddenly calmed down and stopped cursing. I explained why he should withdraw from CCP from the perspective of traditional culture. “Why do I make this phone call to you and ask you to withdraw from the CCP? Because we Chinese had to vow and pledge allegiance to the CCP three times: once for the Young Pioneers, once for the Communist Youth League, and once for the Communist Party. These vows are serious. I really hope that you can be safe when heaven destroys the CCP. You can just use a pseudonym to withdraw from it. It doesn’t affect anything, and you can still be a government official. But it will help you erase the vows. Since you will no longer be a Party member, you will not be held accountable for its crimes. Life is given to us by our parents, and we should be true to ourselves and our family. I’m just calling you to make sure you stay safe.”
He listened quietly, and I could tell that his mind was slowly changing. I reminded him of the CCP’s previous political movements, corruption, and heavy pollution. etc. He calmed down. In the end, he understood and agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
By making these phone calls, I feel the importance of addressing people’s attachments. As we talk we can slowly strip away the lies that deceive them. Once they hear and understand the truth, their mentality will change. This is because it conforms to Master’s Fa, and Master is helping us. Thank you, Master.
Cultivating Ourselves When Encountering Conflicts
We often tend to slack off in cultivation when we are isolated from other practitioners. When I was making phone calls by myself, I often logged in late, and I felt dejected when many people hung up. I realized that I did not cherish this cultivation opportunity. Instead I enjoyed listening to practitioners’ social media channels, thinking I was accumulating information I could use to talk to people. But I was sometimes distracted by ordinary people’s programs. I knew that this was a loophole in my cultivation.
What was really amazing was that after I got on the Quick Talk platform, I had no time to look at my mobile phones. Instead I was coordinating with another practitioner to make phone calls. I stopped slacking off. It was as Master said, “Compare in studying, compare in cultivating.” (“Solid Cultivation,” Hong Yin).
Making phone calls on the platform also offered many xinxing tests. Sometimes a trivial matter caused misunderstanding when we had poor communication. For example, when I successfully helped someone withdraw from the CCP, some practitioners thought that I had not explained the situation thoroughly and said the other person didn’t fully understand; In another case, when I asked the person to withdraw and he didn’t answer, I assumed that he agreed, but the other practitioners thought that it didn’t count and I should contact him again. But sometimes there wasn’t another opportunity.
When I worked very hard but was questioned by others, I felt unsettled. Sometimes they disagreed with what I told people. I felt that they were too picky. But I knew that whenever my heart felt uncomfortable, it was because I had attachments and human notions.
When I looked inward, I found that I did not want anyone to judge or criticize me. I wanted to be recognized, to hear good things, and be praised. It turned out that the root cause was my resentful mentality. Resentment is a very bad substance. When I felt uncomfortable or had negative emotions, it took advantage of my loopholes and interfered with me. I have to identify this and deny these bad thoughts. I should remind myself that it is not me. I said to Master, “I did not cultivate well. I couldn’t endure, and my heart was moved. I didn’t want people to talk about me, I had resentment, and I didn’t meet the standards of the Fa.” I asked Master to help me improve.
Transcribing Phone Recordings and Putting Them into Articles
When I first joined the platform and heard the wonderful recordings of fellow practitioners making calls, I felt very excited. Isn’t this the best reference material for clarifying the truth? In the beginning, I listened to the recording of a Taiwanese practitioner who was a training host. Her soft and gentle tone really touched me. Compared with her, I was doing a speech-style reading of scripts under the influence of the CCP culture. I spoke loudly, unnaturally, and very bluntly. Listening to her voice and tone gave me a reference. I listened to her recordings very carefully every day. I also typed them out word by word, and organized the talking points. I started out with just reading what she said, and soon I was able to successfully help people withdraw from the CCP.
I am very grateful to fellow practitioners for their hard work and for putting the recordings together. I’ve listened to more than 100 of this Taiwanese practitioner’s recordings as she successfully helped people to withdraw from the CCP. They are very good reference materials for me to learn from. Recently, I wrote one of these recordings into a story “Seven College Students Who Withdrew from the CCP Together and Learned to Practice Falun Dafa.” It was published on the Withdrawing from the CCP website. The other practitioners gave me very positive feedback for this, saying that they were inspired by the tone, kindness, and wisdom in the phone conversation.
I began organizing the recordings, learning from practitioners’ different styles of clarifying the truth, and I benefited a lot. The longest one I did was an hour-long recording of a Canadian practitioner persuading a high-level official to withdraw from the CCP. It took me about two weeks. I sorted out the 29 misunderstandings the official had, and how the practitioner helped him resolve them. The Canadian practitioner was shocked when she saw it, and she said sincerely, “It was not that I talked well, but that you organized it so well.” I felt that this was an affirmation and encouragement of my efforts.
One thing I observed was the approach and talking style, and I began to clarify the truth with this new style. For example, this Canadian practitioner said to the official, “I was thinking about the story of the ‘Killing the donkey after unloading the mill.’ Where does the root of the problem come from? In fact, it all comes from the Communist Party and Marxism.” “Will the Communist Party disintegrate overnight? I think it will. What will these Party leaders do when the CCP disintegrates overnight?” She didn’t say the conclusions, but she discussed her thoughts with the other person. This helped expose the evil nature of the CCP.
She also said, “Marxism tries to make people feel that it is great, glorious, and correct. The CCP claims it is the mother, and god. Then it tells people that there is no god and to reject everything else. Many Chinese people do not know that on Karl Marx’s tombstone it says he was a Satanist.” Her approach is to clarify the truth with analysis and discussion. It is quite in-depth, yet without preaching. People are able to listen to, and accept what she says. I benefited from this recording very much, and I compiled it into an article “The Story of the President of a Famous Newspaper Withdrawing from the CCP” and it was published on the website.
I’m grateful for the News Team of Quitting the CCP Center, and I feel honored to be part of it. Many ordinary people do not know the truth, and even question the number of people who have withdrawn from the CCP. After all, few practitioners clarify the truth through phone calls. When we compile these real stories of clarifying the truth and helping people withdraw from the CCP, the public will understand that withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations is not just a slogan, and the 400 million figure is indeed true. It will also help improve the influence of the website, as well as record the history of this great historical tide of withdrawing from the CCP.
By writing down these stories, I’ve become increasingly clear that this is one of my missions. Let us move forward diligently, solidly cultivate ourselves, save more people at this final moment, and fulfill our prehistoric vow. If there is anything inappropriate, please kindly point it out.
Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!
