(Minghui.org) Through studying the Fa, I learned how to deny persecution from the old forces, which I have experienced many times during my cultivation.
Master Li said:
“I’m Li Hongzhi’s disciple, I don’t want other arrangements or acknowledge them”—then they won’t dare to do that. So it can all be resolved. When you can really do that, not just saying it but putting it into action, Master will definitely stand up for you. What’s more, there are lots of Fa guardians around Master, there are lots of Buddhas, Daos, and Gods, and there are even greater beings, and they will all participate, because forced persecution that’s not acknowledged is a crime, and the cosmos’s old laws don’t allow it either—irrational persecution absolutely is not allowed, and the old forces don’t dare to do it if that is the situation. So you should do things as righteously as you can.” (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003)
This passage has benefited me tremendously. I was arrested by the police twice but returned home the next day because I was able to follow the Fa’s principles.
Some fellow practitioners found it hard to believe that I could go home so soon. What did I do when facing the persecution? Essentially I had very little fear or negative thinking.
I took an active role during the interrogation and let the police know that their arresting me was legally groundless. Generally, these officers regard themselves as law enforcers and the practitioners as offenders.
They begin the interrogation by asking practitioners for their names, addresses, phone numbers, and spouse information. I would immediately ask them: “What are your legal grounds for interrogating me?”
The officer would say: “Article 300 of the criminal law.” I would then expound further: “There are two issues in citing Article 300. Firstly, Falun Dafa is not listed as a cult. Secondly, can you tell me which laws or regulations I broke?” Most officers would then become speechless.
I found that the police often don’t understand the law at all. At this point, practitioners should immediately switch to an active role in clarifying the facts.
We can tell them that Article 36 of the Constitution clearly states that citizens have the right to religious freedom of belief. The police also violate Article 243 of the Criminal Law, which stipulates that it is a crime to falsely accuse someone.
By falsely accusing citizens and subjecting them to a criminal investigation, the police are committing a crime and could face imprisonment of up to 3 years, criminal detention, or public surveillance.
If their actions cause serious consequences, they could face imprisonment of between 3 and 10 years. The police are the real perpetrators of undermining the enforcement of the law!
We can then begin to clarify the basic facts about Dafa to the police and explain that no law in China says that practicing Falun Gong is a crime and urge the officers to stop participating in the persecution.
I also told the police that my personal information and belongings have nothing to do with Article 300 of the Criminal Law, so I won’t answer any of their questions.
By then, the police stopped following the interrogation script. I knew that Master had helped to disintegrate the evil factors behind the police.
We must not be afraid of the police, because the persecution is done by the old force factors in other dimensions, not by human beings.
As long as we really do not cooperate with the evil factors when facing a severe tribulation, they will disintegrate immediately. Don’t be deceived by the police because of fear, confusion about the righteousness of Dafa, and any attachment to human things.
If you answer whatever the police ask, you will send yourself into a dark den or end up writing the three statements to renounce your faith. It will then be too late to regret your actions!
These are my personal experiences. Fellow practitioners, please kindly point out anything not in accordance with the Fa.
