(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from throughout Indonesia, as well as Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, held a large-scale character formation activity in Semarang, the capital of Central Java. The Chinese characters formed the word for the cultivation practice “Dafa” (Great Law) on the afternoon of September 29, 2023. The scene was peaceful and beautiful.
The practitioners, dressed in yellow and white, entered the venue in order and stood quietly at designated positions. They lined up in the shape of the two Chinese characters for Dafa. Each character was 15 meters wide and 15 meters tall. Among the practitioners, 133 people formed the character “Da,” 201 formed the character “Fa”, and 70 formed the upper and lower borders of the text.

The Indonesian Army was responsible for providing security for the event. A soldier said, “Many activities have been held here in the past. But, the most orderly one is the Falun Dafa group,” after observing the quiet scene of hundreds of practitioners under the hot weather.
CEO of Shipbuilding Company: “Dafa means everything to me”
Falun Dafa practitioner Hendri Tan from Batam is the CEO of an international shipbuilding company. He was very moved to be granted the opportunity to participate in the Chinese language character-forming activity. He said, “Each of us has benefited a lot from Dafa. Now, we want more people to get to know Dafa too.”

Hendri began to practice Falun Dafa eight years ago. Not only did he recover quickly from his illnesses, but his moral character also improved. “I recovered from insomnia and severe pain in my left hand miraculously once I started practicing Dafa, so I was determined to practice self-cultivation,” he said. “When I read Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Dafa) for the first time, I thought this book was the best. Zhuan Falun is a precious book that everyone should read. It cannot be missed by anyone.”
Henri continued, “As I read Dafa books further and improved my character in my daily life, I realized that Dafa means everything to me.”
The practitioners held a group Fa-study and experience-sharing meeting in the morning before the character-forming activity. Many practitioners shared how they benefited physically and mentally from practicing Dafa, looked inward amid conflicts to improve their character, and at the same time told people about Dafa and how it is persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.
