(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in Strasbourg in eastern France to introduce Falun Dafa on December 9 and 10, 2023. They set up stands or booths at the Place d’Austerlitz near the entrance to the Christmas market, Place de la Gare Train Station, and Place du Corbeau, and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong). During the events, they also demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and performed Chinese waist drums.
The Strasbourg Christmas Market is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe, and is visited by two million people every year. Because it was almost Christmas, there was a steady stream of visitors. Many people were shocked after learning about the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners, and they signed the petition calling for an end to the brutality. Some people told them, “You are doing a good job and are very brave. Please keep working hard!” Some people were interested in practicing Falun Dafa, and learned the five sets of exercises on the spot.

Coralie Diatkine said she hopes the CCP’s persecution stops immediately.
Coralie Diatkine, a hypnotherapist and teacher, said, “It strikes me that humanity today is only focused on material wealth and forgets basic values. To me, truth is the most important value in life.” She continued, “The Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners must stop!”
Daniel works for an American company with branches in China, so he often travels to China for business. After reading practitioners’ banners, he told his wife, “This is very important, I want to know more.” He happily accepted the informational materials.
This was the first time a couple from Switzerland had heard about the horrific CCP-sponsored human organ trafficking, or had seen a waist drum performance. They signed the petition condemning the persecution and expressed their support for practitioners. They thanked them for the information.
A young man asked what Falun Gong was and wanted to know the details of the persecution and how to help end it. After he signed the petition to express his support, he left holding a lotus flower with the words “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
People gathered in front of the display board and read the information about the CCP’s persecution. A law student said she was deeply impressed by the activities held by Falun Dafa practitioners, and said they had the right to express themselves. She congratulated them and said she would spread the news about the CCP’s organ harvesting to the public.

Practitioners were invited to participate in a local Christmas market in Cagnes-sur-Mer, a province on the Mediterranean coast of southern France, held on December 9. Many people were attracted by the peaceful atmosphere of the practitioners’ booth, and were happy to learn about Falun Dafa’s principles - Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Many people signed the petition to end the CCP’s organ harvesting.
