(Minghui.org) May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and was first introduced to the public by its founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, on May 13, 1992.
Today, millions of people worldwide have benefited physically and mentally from practicing Falun Dafa, which is now practiced in over a hundred countries and regions, including the US. Falun Dafa has been recognized with hundreds of commendations and greetings from American officials at the federal, state, and city levels.
May 13, 2023, is the 31st anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 24th World Falun Dafa Day.

Mayor Kevin Hartke of Chandler wrote in his proclamation, “Falun Dafa was first introduced to the public in 1992 in China and was introduced to Arizona in 1998, Since then many free introductory workshops have been held in public places such as city libraries and public parks, and practitioners have participated in many community events.
“Falun Dafa practitioners’ determination and courage to stand up for Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance while facing severe persecution from the Chinese Communist Party has shown the world the value of life and the preciousness of human dignity.
“Falun Dafa activities, including classes and practices, are offered by volunteers, opened to the public, and free of charge; over tens of millions of people in over 100 countries, including United States, have been benefited from practicing Falun Dafa.”
