(Minghui.org) Every weekend, Falun Dafa practitioners in the Netherlands set up booths in cities across the country, in which they are calling attention to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
They also inform people about the cultivation practice and the benefits Falun Dafa, (also called Falun Gong).
Many people visited the booths. The exercise demonstration draws many people to stop and experience a moment of tranquility in their fast-paced life. People from different cultures have in common the recognition of the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and the will for bridging differences between individuals.
Practitioners set up a booth in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The public was informed about the CCP’s ongoing persecution of Falun Gong.

After being told the facts about Falun Gong, people signed a petition calling for the cessation of organ harvesting from living practitioners.
In addition to Nijmegen, practitioners have set up a booth in Utrecht to spread the truth about Falun Gong, and collect signatures condemning the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners set up a booth in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to demonstrate the exercises and collect signatures calling for an end to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
Mr. Ab Vissers, owner of the Phoenix Papieren Theater in Utrecht, signed the petition showing their support, and wished the practitioners success in bringing an end to the persecution.
He was shocked upon learning about the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The removal of organs were mainly practiced on Falun Gong practitioners, who died in the process.
“It’s unbelievable,” said Mr. Vissers. “it’s terrible.” The CCP makes money from it, which is even worse. This is essentially the same as what the German Nazis did. I have to sign the petition.”
Mr. Vissers’ late uncle was a missionary, and he is a man of faith himself. He believed that the connection to God transcends differences between beliefs.
“I think everyone has the right to practice their faith in their own way,” he said,” whatever it is. If you have faith to bind yourself, I admire it very much. No one has the right to prohibit the beliefs of others. This can only result in dire consequences.”
He also said that he understands that the good values promoted by all major religions were enshrined in the principle of Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
He said, “I think Falun Dafa is a peaceful practice, and there is nothing better than that.”
Ms. Silvie Pellova is another person who signed the petition in support of the practitioners’ efforts. Originally from the Czech Republic, she still remembers the harshness of communist rule. “I know what the Communist Party does,” she said. She opposes the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and she believes that people should have freedom of belief.
Ms. Silvie Pellova supports Falun Gong practitioners in their efforts to bring an end to the persecution.
Ms. Pellova also said that in her free time, she also purifies her mind by meditating and finds peace in the busy world.
She believes that Eastern meditation practices, such as Falun Dafa, “are not only good for oneself, but also for those around the respective person.” She mentioned a study showing that after residents of a U.S. city meditated, crime rates generally declined.
Finally, she sent her best wishes to Falun Dafa practitioners, hoping that their efforts would one day stop the CCP’s persecution.
Henry Peters, a retired primary school teacher, signed a petition a few months ago at a booth on Dam Square in Amsterdam. When he saw the booth again in Utrecht, he came again to show his support.

Mr. Peters said, “Cultivation is peaceful, so I want to support it.” He added, “I think you should be able to express any idea or opinion freely, especially if it is peaceful. It should not be suppressed, but in a country like China, people are often repressed.”
Mr. Peters believes it is shocking that people who hold these values in China are being killed, and have their organs harvested while still alive.
“When it comes to organ harvesting on someone who is still alive, I can only say that I’m shocked.” He continued, “I can understand this if a person wants to donate organs after death, but organ theft kills ... It’s crazy!”
Speaking about Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Mr. Peters, who was born into a Catholic family, said, “I identify with these values.”
