(Minghui.org) German Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Consulates and city centers in Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, and Frankfurt on July 20, 2023, to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) 24-year-long persecution of Falun Gong. In Munich and Dusseldorf, practitioners also dropped letters in the Chinese Consulates’ mailboxes, urging the Chinese government to uphold its constitution and end the persecution.
They demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises, distributed flyers introducing Falun Gong, and relayed the facts about the ongoing persecution to passersby. Many passersby stopped to ask for more information about Falun Gong, and some wanted to learn the practice.

A Letter to the CCP: “The persecution of Falun Gong is a serious crime”
Two practitioners put a letter to the CCP into the Chinese Consulate’s mailbox.
Practitioners read their letters through loudspeakers and then dropped them into the consulate’s mailboxes in Dusseldorf and Munich.
The letter read: “Twenty-four years ago, Jiang Zemin, the then-leader of the Chinese Communist Party, used the Party to launch a persecution of Falun Gong, a persecution of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance! He issued an extermination policy to ‘defame their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.’ As of today, it is still causing endless pain to millions of Falun Dafa practitioners and their families in China.
“The persecution of Falun Gong is a serious crime—stealing the organs of those righteous and peaceful Dafa practitioners is a serious crime. You are committing crimes against cultivating practitioners. Please read your wise and ancient scriptures, Buddhist and Taoist, and see for yourself what this means and what the consequences will be.”
Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) practitioners made the following requests to the Chinese consulates in Dusseldorf and Munich: Please do everything in your power to ensure that the persecution of Falun Gong stops. Strive to ensure that the Constitution of your country (the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China) is legally enforced. Immediately stop the state-run harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. To correct every wrong committed by the Communist Party against Falun Gong practitioners, those responsible for the persecution must be brought to justice.
People Support Falun Gong Practitioners and Oppose the Persecution
In the center of Frankfurt, after learning the truth, many people held up placards that read “In Memory of July 20” to support Falun Gong practitioners in their endeavors to end the persecution.
In the center of Frankfurt, many people were intrigued by the practitioners’ activities. After learning that they were raising awareness of the CCP’s 24-year-long persecution, many people looked concerned, and some signed the petition to protest it. Some even held up placards that read “In Memory of July 20” to support the practitioners in their endeavor to call for an end to the persecution.
At the Chinese Consulate in Dusseldorf, several police officers on duty witnessed the practitioners’ entire activity. When they heard the practitioners read the letter to the Chinese consulate and a list of names who had died in the persecution, the police were moved. One of them said, “If I were in China, I would not be a police officer.” When several practitioners were about to head to the consulate mailbox to turn in their letter, a policeman offered to accompany them.
