(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Indonesia gathered at New Ocarina, a tourist attraction in Batam City, on July 23, 2023, to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 24-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong.
Practitioners commenced the activity by doing the five sets of Falun Dafa exercises together, and then held a candlelight vigil to commemorate the practitioners who lost their lives due to the persecution. Four practitioners held two large banners urging an end to the persecution and the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living practitioners in China.
Practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Dafa and honored the memory of the practitioners who were persecuted to death by the CCP in China.

Many visitors accepted informational materials about Falun Dafa during the event. They attentively listened to practitioners explain the practice and how the CCP has used propaganda to discredit and slander Falun Dafa.
Raymond, a local practitioner, said, “The purpose of holding this activity is to commemorate the practitioners who have lost their lives due to persecution, and to call on the international community to help put an end to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.”
