The Chinese couple, in their late 70s, came from Cambodia and settled in France in the 1970s. On August 26, 2023 over a thousand Falun Dafa practitioners held a parade in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The couple were in Paris visiting their child and saw the parade while they shopped in Chinatown.

The parade drew the attention of many bystanders as it went through Chinatown in Paris.
This was the practitioners’ second parade that day, and it set out from Place d’Italie in the afternoon. It went through a few major streets in Chinatown before returning to the Place d’Italie. Many Chinese people watched the parade and recorded it. Some quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations after learning about the brutal persecution in China.

Finally Found Falun Dafa After Years of Searching
Mr. and Mrs. Wu said that they heard about Falun Dafa years ago and watched the exercise videos. They tried to find the Falun Dafa books, but did not know where to look. They were excited when practitioners told them that there was a Tianti Bookstore in Paris that sells Falun Dafa books.
Mr. Wu said that he does not get information from the CCP’s media mouthpieces because they lie. The couple said the CCP has committed unforgivable crimes and will surely be punished. They said that the Chinese people can only lead a normal life after the CCP is dissolved.
Chinese Man Wishes Practitioners Good Luck
A Chinese man watched the parade and told a practitioner that he came from Jilin Province in China and settled in Paris in 2001. He knew that the Chinese media, before the persecution, praised Falun Dafa, but he did not understand why the media changed its stance and began to slander the practice.
The practitioner told him that by 1999, the number of people who practiced Falun Dafa exceeded CCP members, which angered the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. He knew that many high level CCP members practiced Falun Dafa, but he was afraid of the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Jiang used his political power to launch the persecution in July 1999.
The man said that he would read the Falun Dafa flier carefully and share the information with his family and friends in China. He said, “I wish you good people good luck!”
