1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Xiuqin Arrested
2. [Kaili City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Yang Zhongxiu’s Home Ransacked

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Xiuqin Arrested
Ms. Sun Xiuqin, about 75 years old, from Xiangfang District, was arrested at home by two police officers on the morning of December 13, 2023. Further details are pending.
2. [Kaili City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Yang Zhongxiu’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Yang Zhongxiu’s home was ransacked twice by Kaili City Domestic Security Division police between January and February 2024. They threatened to detain her for 10 to 15 days.
3. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Jing Arrested
Ms. Wang Jing was reported to the police when she talked to her coworkers about Falun Gong on December 11, 2023. She was arrested by officers from the Meiyuan New Village Police Station in the Pudong New Area. The officers ransacked her home the following day and confiscated a Falun Gong book, two laptop computers, some USB drives, and several hand-copied books that had Falun Gong truth-clarification content.
On December 12, Ms. Wang was taken to the Qilian Police Station in Baoshan District, where she was interrogated. She was taken to the Baoshan District Detention Center the following evening and held there for a month. Ms. Wang has now returned home. The lease of her rented home was terminated. After staff members of the local neighborhood committee forcibly evicted her, they prevented her from living in Jiayi Community, and frequently harassed her family members at their home.
