(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Ukraine and Austria organized a Falun Dafa introductory class in Uzhgorod on February 17-18, 2024. Around twenty residents attended the class, where practitioners introduced the principles of Falun Dafa. Attendees who learned the exercises said they felt tremendous energy.
Uzhgorod is located in western Ukraine and is the administrative center of the Zakarpattia Oblast region. Practitioners from neighboring areas came to bring the beauty of Falun Dafa to local residents.
Attendees Feel Energy and Inner Peace
Practitioners played taped recordings of the founder of Falun Dafa, Master Li Hongzhi, teaching the five sets of exercises during the two-day introductory class. They also explained the teachings and exposed the persecution in China. Afterward, everyone did the exercises together and shared experiences of practicing cultivation.

Many Ukrainians who attended the class said they felt energy and inner peace after learning the exercises. Nadiya said, “I have been searching for a way to improve my character. Thank you for your introduction and exercise demonstration, I feel this is what I have been searching for.”

Before holding the class, practitioners held activities near the Uzh River in the city center, where they demonstrated the exercises and handed out information.

Many passersby happily took the materials practitioners offered and asked questions about Falun Dafa. A woman watched practitioners for a long time, and then she asked where she could learn the exercises. She was delighted to learn that an introductory class would be held an hour later. She wrote down the address and attended the class.
Yoga Center Owner Invites Practitioners to Hold a Class
The introductory class was held at Sky Lotus, a yoga center in Uzhgorod. Lyudmila and Nina, owners of the center, attended the class.
Lyudmila and Nina heard about Falun Dafa last summer when practitioners from Ukraine and Latvia did the exercises in a park in Uzhgorod. Lyudmila was working at a cafe nearby and noticed them.

Nina went to the practice site and a practitioner gave her information about Falun Dafa. Nina explained that she and Lyudmila had just opened a yoga center, Sky Lotus. She felt hearing about Falun Dafa was a beautiful coincidence and must be a predestined arrangement.
Nina and Ludmiya invited practitioners to hold a Falun Dafa introductory class at the Sky Lotus yoga center, and they also learned the exercises.
Local practitioners in Uzhgorod established a practice site after the introductory class, providing an environment for new practitioners to do the exercises.
