(Minghui.org) My uncle is 84 years old this year. He had a stroke more than ten years ago. He lost most of his ability to talk and was only able to occasionally say a single word, rarely a complete sentence. However, he could still walk using his cane and take care of himself.
In early January 2024, my cousin called me and said my uncle had a heart attack and was hospitalized. The doctor said that his condition was very bleak as he was old and previously had a stroke. The doctor told the family to be prepared for the worst. My husband and I rushed to the hospital.
When I entered the hallway, I saw my uncle’s daughter calling her siblings. She said that her father was in critical condition and told them to come quickly. When I walked into the hospital room, I saw my uncle sitting on the bed and his niece was holding him. The ECG monitor was beside the bed. Even though he had on an oxygen mask, the monitor showed that the blood oxygen saturation dropped significantly. He was trembling, his eyes were huge and he looked like he was in great pain.
When my uncle saw me, he looked as if he were asking for help. The doctor and nurse were discussing with the family about moving him to ICU. Seizing the moment when the doctor stepped away, I went to my uncle’s side and leaned in. I said, “Don’t be afraid. Quickly recite Falun Dafa is good!” I silently asked Master for help while reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I was thinking that my uncle might only be able to recite silently, but he spoke out-loud, each word very clear. I was happy for him and told him not to be afraid and to continue reciting the words.
Just two minutes later, a miracle happened. He stopped trembling and he no longer look frightened. The ECG monitor reading increased. When the doctor looked at it, he found it unbelievable that my uncle returned to almost normal so quickly from his dying state. The ICU doctor walked into the room. After checking my uncle and looking at the ECG monitor, he decided that my uncle did not need to be moved to the ICU.
His two children arrived, and I told them how their father improved and they were happy. Before I left, I told them to say “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” sincerely and they would be blessed. The family knows Falun Dafa is good and quit the Chinese Communist Party. They are supportive of Dafa.
The next week I called my cousin to ask about my uncle’s situation. He said that his father was discharged four days after I left. The doctor again told the family to be prepared for the worst but unexpectedly, my uncle became better with each passing day and almost recovered to his pre-hospitalization state. I was very happy to hear this and I was grateful to Master.
January 29, 2024 was my uncle’s birthday. I returned to my hometown to celebrate. I asked my uncle loudly in front of our relatives and friends, “Did you recover after I told you to recite ‘Falun Dafa is good’?” He smiled at me and nodded his head. Everyone saw his big smile.
