(Minghui.org) Throughout May 2024, Falun Dafa practitioners set up a stand in front of the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm every Friday and Saturday afternoon, drawing many local residents and tourists to learn about the practice. People expressed admiration and support for the practitioners’ courage in peacefully and persistently protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
The Nobel Prize Museum is a must-see attraction in Stockholm, and the practitioners set up their activity near the entrance. Among the endless stream of people, many from different countries stopped to learn about Falun Dafa and signed the petition. There were also tourists from China who agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

One Friday, a couple from Turkey passing by were drawn by the banner that read “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong.” They were struck by the contrast between the peaceful practitioners doing the tranquil exercises and the photos and illustrations of the persecution on the display boards. After hearing the facts, the couple expressed their sympathy and support for Falun Gong, and agreed with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
The man said that many of his Uyghur friends in Turkey had told him about the CCP’s persecution of Uyghurs in Tibet and Xinjiang. He said, “At that time, I was shocked to learn how horribly my friends were tortured. I thought this [CCP] government was crazy. Today, I learned that Falun Gong practitioners who practice Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance have also been persecuted so brutally by the CCP. Many people have even had their organs harvested while they are still alive. It is really outrageous! But I believe all of this is true, because (the CCP) is a devil. We must stop it.”
They praised practitioners for speaking out for all those who have been persecuted. After signing the petition, the couple were reluctant to leave and asked what they could do to stop the persecution. The man video recorded the banners, display boards, and practitioners doing the exercises with his mobile phone and said he would help spread the information. He said, “I will tell more people, including my Uyghur friends, when I go back. Let us all work together to stop the Chinese regime from continuing to do evil.”
A white-haired elderly man read the information on the display boards and then signed the petition. He then pointed to the board about the CCP’s organ harvesting and said, “I’m from Cuba, so I know how evil the communist party is. The communist party’s dictatorship cannot tolerate kind people. But the CCP’s large-scale organ harvesting is a crime that many people dare not imagine. You are very brave to expose these things. You are doing a great thing.
“There are a lot of tourists here. It’s good that you choose to be here and have information in different languages so people from other countries will know what’s happening. This way, more people will know the facts about the persecution. People will definitely remember you and help tell more people about it. This is a very important thing, and I believe more and more people will support you.” He said that Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful way of resisting the persecution and their courage were admirable, and he encouraged them to persevere.
On the afternoon of Saturday, May 25, three tourists from Washington State in the USA greeted practitioners as they passed by. One of the men said that they were all fans of Shen Yun. He said the message conveyed by Shen Yun touched people’s hearts, moved them, and helped them understand the truth.
Another one said, “We go see Shen Yun perform every year, including the Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra. These are definitely high-level performances.” They all expressed their support for practitioners’ efforts to expose the persecution and said they hoped the persecution ended soon.
As he left the museum, a young man from China noticed many people stopping at the stand to learn about the practice and sign to support Falun Gong. He was surprised at first, and then his expression changed to admiration. After a practitioner explained, he smiled and said, “I believe what you say is true, because my family has also been persecuted by the CCP. My grandmother often told me that the CCP persecutes people step by step and forces you to death in the end, so you must stay away from it. I personally don’t believe in the Party at all. I admire you for daring to openly tell people the truth here and expose the CCP’s shameful deeds.”
He also talked about working in Shanghai during the COVID lockdown. “The entrance of the building where I lived was welded shut. Everyone was trapped inside and we were not allowed out. No one cared whether we ate or had anything to drink, so I pounded on a metal bowl to protest. I was fined 50 yuan every time I did that. A relative of mine eventually paid a high price to find someone to get me something to eat. That’s how I survived. The CCP doesn’t care about people’s lives. Even if I starved to death, no one cared. Moreover, all this real information is not allowed to be talked about. If you do, they will torture you to death. The CCP has always been like this.” He said that now that he has finally left, he never wanted to return to his country ruled by the devil.
A young couple from China who work in Sweden talked to a practitioner. The woman said, “In the past, I knew about Falun Gong from the CCP’s propaganda. Outside of China, I’ve encountered Falun Gong’s public activities like yours many times, and I was surprised. I noticed that many Westerners are practicing Falun Gong, which is completely inconsistent with the CCP propaganda.”
A practitioner told the couple about Falun Gong, the truth about the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident and the significance of quitting the CCP based on her own personal experiences. After they understood, the couple agreed to quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers with an alias. They also thanked the practitioner for her long-term dedication and efforts to raise awareness.
