1. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Qinghua Faces Trial

Mr. Wang Qinghua is scheduled to appear in the Funing County Court at 3 p.m. on August 20, 2024.

2. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Shukun and Gao Baoxia Arrested

Ms. Jia Shukun from Haizhou Township has been placed under official arrest.

Gao Baoxia, who was out on bail, has been taken into back into custody recently.

3. [Taicang City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Wang Jian Arrested and Detained

Mr. Wang Jian was arrested at home on August 11, 2024 and put under criminal detention with the charge of “undermining the law enforcement with a cult organization,” a standard pretext used to criminalize Falun Gong practitioners in China. He is currently detained in the Taicang City Detention Center.

4. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Qiling Harassed

Ms. Zhou Qiling was harassed at home by officers from the Qingshan Township Police Station on the afternoon of August 1, 2024. The police took some photos of her and her home.

5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xia Shufang Harassed

Ms. Xia Shufang was harassed at home on the morning of July 25, 2024 by Hu Binglu and Ma Wenjiang of the Xixinzhuang Village Committee, and a female officer from the Gangshang Town Police Station. They took some photos of her.
