Government officials throughout the US have contributed to Falun Dafa Day celebrations in their jurisdictions by sending congratulatory letters and certificates of honor to practitioners and recognizing May 13 as "Falun Dafa Day." The State of Maryland was no exception. As U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes said, it was a “milestone event.”
